Due uomini in un letto

C'è un passaggio interessante che ci è venuto all'attenzione ed è degno di discussione, vale a dire Luqas (Luca) 17: 34-37.

KJV-AV (1611)

Ti dico, in quella notte ci saranno due uomini in un letto; l'uno sarà preso, l'altro sarà lasciato. 35 Due donne macineranno insieme; l'una sarà presa e l'altra lasciata. 36 Ci saranno due uomini nel campo; l'uno sarà preso e l'altro lasciato. 37 Ed essi risposero e gli dissero: Dove, Signore? E disse loro: "li dove il corpo sarà, saranno radunate le Aquile”.

Nel greco, la parola uomini non appare nel versetto 34, né la parola donne appare nel versetto 35, né la parola uomini appare nel versetto 36.

Diamo un'occhiata al greco dal Stephanus Textus Receptus:

Luqas 17:34
λεγω υμιν ταυτη τη νυκτι εσονται δυο επι κλινης μιας ο εις παραληφθησεται και ο ετερος αφεθησεται

Lego [ dico] ymin [a te] tafti [che] ti [in] nykti [questa notte] esontai [verranno] dyo [due] epi [sopra] klinis [un giaciglio] mias [il primo] o [che] eis [l’uno] paralifthisetai [sarà preso] kai [e] o [l’] eteros [altro] afethisetai [lasciato]

Quindi è ovvio vedere che né due uomini, né due donne, né del resto due persone appaiono in questo passaggio. Sono semplicemente due su un giaciglio. Ora alcuni potrebbero dire che il klinis è anche un letto, e anche cedendo su questo punto, dice comunque due su un letto. Gli interpreti di KJV (King James Version) hanno aggiunto due uomini al testo.

Luqas 17:35
δυο εσονται αληθουσαι επι το αυτο η μια παραληφθησεται και η ετερα αφεθησεται

Dyo [due] esontai [verranno] alithousai [professando la verità] epi [circa] to [la] afto [stessa] i [il] mia [primo] paralifthisetai [sarà preso] kai [e] i [l’] etera [altro] afethisetai [lasciato]

Discutiamo di questa parola che è sempre stata interpretata come macinatura.

L' interpretazione unica di Strong che si trova sulla parola, in contrasto con la parola che appare in realtà, è ἀλήθω aletho (Strong's G229) che Strong's ci dice significare macinare (dallo stesso significato di ἄλευρον áleuron ) farina o semola).

Ma la parola che in realtà appare lì è αληθουσαι alithousai, una parola completamente diversa che porta un significato completamente diverso. La vera radice della parola non è aleo (farina), ma piuttosto αληθές alithés, che significa vero. Non ha nulla a che fare con la macinazione di farina di alcun tipo. Piuttosto, il verso parla di due persone che professano la verità: una è ricevuta, l'altra abbandonata. Un po 'diverso rispetto a due persone che macinano la farina, non è vero?

δυο εσονται εν τω αγρω ο εις παραληφθησεται και ο ετερος αφεθησεται

Dyo [due] esontai [avverrà]  en [in] to [un] agro [campo] o [che] eis [uno] paralifthisetai [sarà preso] kai [e] o [l’] eteros [altro] afethisetai [lasciato]

È per questi motivi che esponiamo questo insieme di versi come segue:


Vi dico che avverrà che due saranno su un giaciglio; uno sarò ricevuto e l'altro abbandonato; 35 Accadrà che due professeranno la stessa Verità ; uno sarà ricevuto e l'altro abbandonato. 36 Deve avvenire che due saranno nel campo; uno sarà ricevuto e l'altro abbandonato. 37 E gli risposero e gli dissero: Dove, Adonai? E disse loro: Dovunque sia il corpo, saranno radunate le aquile.
