For behold, the day comes, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that comes shall burn them up, says Yahuah Tseva’oth, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
Mal’akiy (Malachi) 4:1
10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. 11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Qayin and ran greedily after the error of Bil`am for reward and perished in the gainsaying of Qorach. 12 These are spots in your feasts of love, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withers, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; 13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.
Yahudah (Jude) 10-13
14 And Chanoch also, the seventh from A’dam, prophesied of these, saying:
Behold, Yahuah comes with ten thousands of his qodeshiym, 15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are wicked among them of all their wicked deeds which they have wickedly committed, and of all their hard speeches which wicked sinners have spoken against him.
16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaks great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.
Yahudah (Jude) 14-16
17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Adonai Yahusha Ha’Mashiach; 18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own wickedly lusts. 19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Ruach. 20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Ruach Ha’Qodesh, 21 Keep yourselves in the love of Elohiym, looking for the mercy of our Adonai Yahusha Ha’Mashiach unto eternal life.
Yahudah (Jude) 17-21
22 Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from Adonai Yahuah Tseva’oth a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.
Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 28:22
There are those who disagree that the name Yahuah is the name of the entity referred to as "the father" in scripture. For instance, the followers of the heretic Marcion (expelled from the company of believers in the second century AD) believe that there is only "Jesus" and that the "god" identified in the Old Testament is actually "satan" and is completely disconnected from "Jesus". This idea was rejected by the church fathers very early on - even before the legalization of Christianity under Constantine in AD 325.
There are others who believe the words of Zechariah Sitchens in his now discredited translation of Sumerian manuscripts where he willfully assigned wickedness to an entity called "Yah" and righteousness to "Enlil" and "Enki". The Sumerian tablets were not inspired writings and were full of errors, logical irregularities, and their litany of "gods" appears both farcical and whimsical, personifying every property of existence as a "god" and rendering the Ruach as a "ghost".
The bullies and the mockers now not only ridicule the name Yahuah, but denounce it, curse it, pierce through it, ban it, forbid it, and otherwise blaspheme the name; scratching their testicles while exalting themselves upon the names "Lord", "God", "HaShem" and "Jesus".
We will take a close look at their error tonight, bearing in mind that the sin for which is there is no forgiveness is blaspheming the Ruach Ha'Qodesh.
