Who are the seven spirits of God? We begin with a Zakaryahu 3:
AND he showed me Yahusha the high priest standing before the angel of YAHUAH, and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him. 2 And YAHUAH said unto Satan, YAHUAH rebuke you, O Satan; even YAHUAH that has chosen Yerushalayim rebuke you: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire? 3 Now Yahusha was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. 4 And he answered and spoke unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused your iniquity to pass from you, and I will clothe you with change of raiment. 5 And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of YAHUAH stood by. 6 And the angel of YAHUAH protested unto Yahusha, saying, 7 Thus says YAHUAH TSEVA’OT; If you will walk in my ways, and if you will keep my charge, then you shall also judge my house, and shall also keep my courts, and I will give you places to walk among these that stand by. 8 Hear now, O Yahusha the high priest, you, and your fellows that sit before you: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH. 9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Yahusha; upon one stone shall be seven eyes:* behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, says YAHUAH TSEVA’OT, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. 10 In that day, says YAHUAH TSEVA’OT, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree.
This one stone, or in the Hebrew echad eben (אֶ֫בֶן), may refer to the chief corner stone, the eben rosh pinna, which the builders rejected. (Mattithyahu 21:42, Marcus 12:10, Lucas 20:17)
Let us consider a visual of stone upon which were the seven eyes, which are seven spirits:
* Zakaryahu 4:10
For who has despised the day of small things? For they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of YAHUAH, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven RUACH’OTH of ELOHIYM sent forth into all the earth.
Are there supporting scriptures for these concepts? Consider the language in Yeshayahu 11:2:
And the RUACH ר֧וּחַ YAHUAH יְהֹוָה shall rest upon him, the RUACH ר֧וּחַ of wisdom חָכְמָ֣ה (chokmah) and understanding וּבִינָ֗ה (binah), the RUACH ר֧וּחַ of counsel עֵצָה֙ (etzah) and might וּגְבוּרָ֔ה (gevurah), the RUACH ר֧וּחַ of knowledge דַּ֖עַת (da’ath) and of the fear וְיִרְאַ֥ת (yirah) of YAHUAH יְהוָֽה:
This passage then yields seven spirits:
- The RUACH YAHUAH
- The RUACH CHOKMAH
- The RUACH BINAH
- The RUACH ETZAH
- The RUACH GEVURAH
- The RUACH DA’ATH
- The RUACH YIRAH
Again, consider the visual:
