The ending of the iniquity of the House of Yashar'el


We begin our discussion with the verse from Yechezq’el:

Yechezq’el (Ezekiel) 4:4-5
Lie you also upon your left side, and lay את eth-the iniquity of the house of Yashar’el upon it: according to the number of the days that you shall lie upon it you shall bear their iniquity. 5 For I have laid upon you את eth-the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shall you bear the iniquity of the house of Yashar’el.

So we see in this passage that the days of the iniquity of Yashar’el (Yisra’el) are 390 years, because the days are construed as years in this passage. Consider the first witness to this kind of prophetic understanding:

Bemidbar (Numbers) 14:32-34
But as for you, your carcases, they shall fall in this wilderness. 33 And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear את eth-your whoredoms, until your carcases be wasted in the wilderness. 34 After the number of the days in which ye searched את eth-the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear את eth-your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know את eth-my breach of promise.

We see in this the micro/macro concept, where the prophecy may have a day-equals-a-year formula, but sometimes may also be construed where the year-equals-a-jubilee, or a 50-year sequence. 

However, here we must concern ourselves with this question, what is “iniquity”?

We find that the Hebrew word interpreted as iniquity is the word âvôn (עָוֺן). This word, in its common usage, means perversity, i.e. moral evil, fault, iniquity, mischief, one form of sin. The word is derived from the root ʻâvâh (עָוָה), which means to do amiss, to bow down, to make crooked, to commit iniquity, to pervert, to do perversely, to do wickedly, or to do wrong.

This word âvôn is the word used to describe the iniquity of Cedom (Sodom) and Amorah (Gomorrah) (Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 19:15).

Compare these variances in the description of sin:

And he hewed two sapphire stones like to the first; and Mosheh rose up early in the morning, and went up to Mount Ciynai, as YAHUAH had commanded him, and took in his hand the two sapphire stones. 5 And YAHUAH descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of YAHUAH. 6 And YAHUAH passed by before him, and proclaimed, YAHUAH, YAHUAH EL, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, 7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, to the third and to the fourth generation.

So let’s compare the difference between iniquity, transgression, and sin.

Iniquity is in the Hebrew âvôn (עָוֺן), which as we have seen means perversity.
Transgression is in the Hebrew peshaʻ (פֶּשַׁע), which means rebellion.
Sin is in the Hebrew chaṭṭâʼâh (חַטָּאָה), which means offense

All of these are forgiven in the mercy of YAHUAH, yet it is perversity that is visited upon the children to the third and fourth generation, (i.e., generational sin).

Bearing in mind that Yechezq’el was giving his prophecy during this very 390 year period, for he is writing in the fifth year of Yahuyakiyn’s captivity (Yechezq’el 1:5), which would be around 592 BC.  You recall that the northern kingdom of Yashar’el (Yisra’el) fell in 722 BC.  The iniquity of Yashar’el would continue then to 332 BC, or 390 years later.  However, we see nothing concerning 332 BC.  Why?

Vayiqra (Leviticus) 26:27-28
And if ye will not for all this hearken to me, but walk contrary to me; 28 Then I will walk contrary to you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.

This gives our prophecy new weight, and a new date.  So, to make this calculation, we multiply the 390 years times seven, to find the full chastisement.  390 x 7 = 2,730.  Therefore, the chastisement of Yashar’el which began in 722 BC continued until the year . . . 2008.  We will return to this idea shortly.

However, when we talk about perversity, what does such a word mean, or at least, how is it meant in Scripture?

Chanoch (Enoch) 80:8-10
The thoughts of those who dwell on the earth shall transgress (create rebellion) within them; and they shall be perverted in all their ways. 9 They shall transgress, and think themselves elohiym; while evil shall be multiplied among them. 10 And punishment shall come upon them, so that all of them shall be destroyed.

So, perversity means in its simplest form, deviating from the natural way as given (in the instructions of YAH which we call Torah). The way is found in the natural rhythm of life, which is profoundly marked by the seventh day of rest, the seven feasts, and the rhythm of the harvests, i.e., the latter rain, and the former rain.  The natural rhythm of life marks its day, beginning and ending when the sun sets.  The natural rhythm marks its beginning in the spring, when life begins its cycle anew.  The natural rhythm marks its seasons predicated upon the new moons of the 1st, 4th, 7th, and 10th months (Yovheliym (Jubilees) 6:23).  The natural rhythm marks the seventh day sacred.  The natural rhythm marks the seventh year sacred.  The natural rhythm marks the 50th year as sacred.  The natural rhythm embraces the seven Sabbaths (Shabbathoth) called feasts as sacred.  These things are the natural way of things, and they are not burdensome. 

What would one expect to find if all of these ways were perverted?  Wouldn’t you expect to find that the day began and ended at some different – possibly an arbitrary – time? Wouldn’t you expect that the year would start at some different – possibly an arbitrary – time? Wouldn’t you expect the seasons to be marked at some different – possibly an arbitrary – time? Wouldn’t you expect to find that the Shabbath was no longer being kept, or worse, even made illegal? Wouldn’t you expect to find that the feasts were no longer being kept, but had been replaced with alternative feasts of every sort, worshipping every sort of elohiym (god)?  Wouldn’t you expect to find people elevating themselves as elohiym (gods)? Wouldn’t you expect to find evil (in the Hebrew: ra) being multiplied among mankind? 

And how are we different?

Can you explain how it makes sense that the day would end and begin in the middle of the night?

Can you explain how the calendar begins in the middle of winter, on the first day of the 11th month? (Or the first day of the 7th month on the Jewish calendar)?

Can you explain if the fixing of the seasons on the equinoxes and solstices accurately describes the seasons, or does it create arbitrary lines? [For instance, in this biblical year, the first day of the year was March 9 on the Gregorian (Pope Gregory) calendar, which was also the first day of Spring.  This brought an early spring, an early summer, an early fall, and an early winter.  Next year, the first day of spring will be March 28 – 7 days beyond the Vernal Equinox.  We will therefore have a long winter and a late spring.  Does the Gregorian calendar predict such a thing?]

Can you explain why the Catholic Church abolished the fourth commandment and began inflicting the death penalty on those who observed the Shabbath?

Can you explain why the pagan fertility feast of Ishtar (Easter) was posited upon the community of faith? 

Can you explain how the Christian Church came to practice Christmas, when it is not ever mentioned in Scripture?  Can you in the same breath justify St. Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, and Easter? [Again, pointing to Ma’asiym (Acts) 12:4 is useless.  The Greek word translated by the KJV interpreters as “Easter” is the word πάσχα páscha, which means Passover (Pecach).  It appears 27 times in the NT, and in 26 of those instances it is translated as Passover.]

Can you explain the practices of the church today? 

We see now the iniquity of Yashar’el, do we not?  We see also that this practice was prophesied to continue for 2,730 years.  How many have asked when we should see the return of MASHIACH, yet the prophecies show at least beyond 2008, do they not? 

Consider now: are your ways perverse?  Given the expiration of the prophecy, do you return and restore, or do you continue to walk in the path of iniquity?

Woe to you, perverted in heart, who are watchful to obtain an accurate knowledge of evil, and to discover terrors. No one shall assist you.

Luqas (Luke) 13:27
But he shall say: I tell you, I do not know you where ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

What is this phrase workers of iniquity? Such a phrase appears 21 times in the Eth CEPHER, but only once in the Besor’oth (gospels). [See Iyov (Job) 31:3; 34:8; 34:22; Tehilliym (Psalms) 5:5; 6:8; 14:4; 28:3; 36:12; 37:1; 53:4; 59:2; 64:2; 92:7; 92:9; 94:4; Ps 94:16; 125:5; 141:9 Mishlei (Proverbs) 10:29; 21; Luqas (Luke) 13:27

In the Hebrew, the phrase for workers of iniquity is (פָּעַל אָוֶן) pâʻal ʼâven.  It is this very phrase that is quoted by MASHIACH in the gospel. In the Greek, we have the phrase (ἐργάτης ἀδικία) ergátēs adikía.

Given this well-known phrase in the Hebrew, do you really believe that Sha’ul, the self-confessed Pharisee’s Pharisee, would have taken the name Paul? 

Those described as pâʻal ʼâven are those who practice, commit, do, ordain or work iniquity, which, as we know, is perversity, i.e., another path other than the path set forth in Scripture.

Therefore, we can reach a conclusion.  The House of Yashar’el has been called out of its iniquity and called to restore itself to the WAY since 2008.  Those who hear the call and ignore it, shall have their iniquity passed to the third or fourth generation after them.
