The Revelation of Yahusha Ha’
View

The Revelation of Yahusha Ha’Mashiach, which Elohiym gave unto him, to show unto his servants things את which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant Yochanon: 2 Who bore record of the Word of Elohiym, and of the testimony of Yahusha Ha’Mashiach, and of all things that he saw.
3 Blessed is he that reads, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and guard those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
4 Yochanon to the seven called out assemblies which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Ruachoth which are before his throne; 5 And from Yahusha Ha’Mashiach, who is the faithful witness, and the firstborn of the dead, and the Prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us and washed us from our sins in his own blood, 6 And has made us kings and priests unto Elohiym and his Father; to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amein. 7 Behold, he comes with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so: Amein. 8 I am the א (Aleph) and the ת (Tav), the beginning and the ending, says Yahuah Elohiym, which is, and which was, and which is to come, Yahuah Tseva’oth.
9 I Yochanon, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the Kingdom and patience of Yahusha Ha’Mashiach, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the Word of Elohiym, and for the testimony of Yahusha Ha’Mashiach. 10 I was in the Ruach on the day of Yahuah, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a shofar, 11 Saying,
I am the א (Aleph) and the ת (Tav), the first and the last:
and: What you see, write in a cepher, and send it unto the seven called out assemblies which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatiera, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodikeia. 12 And I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden menorahs; 13 And in the midst of the seven menorahs one like unto the Son of A’dam, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the chest with a golden belt. 14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; 15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. 16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shines in his strength.
17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not:
I am the first and the last:
18 I am he who lives, and was dead; and behold, I am alive forevermore: Amein; and have the keys of She’ol and of death. 19 Write the things את which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter; 20 The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden menorahs. The seven stars are the angels of the seven called out assemblies: and the seven menorahs which you saw are the seven called out assemblies.

View

And it shall come to pass, when that appointed day has gone by that then shall the aspect of those who are condemned be afterwards changed, and the glory of those who are justified. 2 For the aspect of those who now act wickedly shall become worse than it is, as they shall suffer torment. 3 Also as for the glory of those who have now been justified in my Torah, who have had understanding in their life, and who have planted in their heart the root of wisdom, then their splendor shall be glorified in changes, and the form of their face shall be turned into the light of their beauty, that they may be able to acquire and receive the world which does not die, which is then promised to them. 4 For over this above all shall those who come then lament that they rejected my Torah and stopped their ears that they might not hear wisdom or receive understanding. 5 When therefore they see those, over whom they are now exalted, but who shall then be exalted and glorified more than they, they shall respectively be transformed the latter into the splendor of angels, and the former shall yet more waste away in wonder at the visions and in the beholding of the forms. 6 For they shall first behold and afterwards depart to be tormented.
7 But those who have been saved by their works and to whom the Torah has been now a hope and understanding an expectation and wisdom a confidence shall wonders appear in their time. 8 For they shall behold the world which is now invisible to them, and they shall behold the time which is now hidden from them: 9 And time shall no longer age them. 10 For in the heights of that world shall they dwell, and they shall be made like unto the angels and be made equal to the stars, and they shall be changed into every form they desire, from beauty into loveliness, and from light into the splendor of glory. 11 For there shall be spread before them the extents of Paradise, and there shall be shown to them the beauty of the majesty of the living creatures which are beneath the throne and all the armies of the angels who are now held fast by my word, lest they should appear, and are held fast by a command, that they may stand in their places till their advent comes.
12 Moreover, there shall then be excellency in the righteous surpassing that in the angels. 13 For the first shall receive the last, those whom they were expecting, and the last those of whom they used to hear that they had passed away. 14 For they have been delivered from this world of tribulation and laid down the burden of anguish. 15 For what then have men lost their life and for what have those who were on the earth exchanged their soul? 16 For then they chose not for themselves this time which beyond the reach of anguish could not pass away: but they chose for themselves that time whose issues are full of lamentations and evils; and they denied the world which ages not those who come to it; and they rejected the time of glory so that they shall not come to the honor of which I told you before.

Thus says Yahuah, I brought this people out of bondage, and I gave them my commandments by menservants the prophets;
View

Thus says Yahuah, I brought this people out of bondage, and I gave them my commandments by menservants the prophets; whom they would not hear but despised my counsels. 2 The mother that bore them says unto them: Go your way, ye children; for I am a widow and forsaken. 3 I brought you up with gladness; but with sorrow and heaviness have I lost you: for ye have sinned before Yahuah Elohaykem and done that thing that is evil before him. 4 But what shall I now do unto you? I am a widow and forsaken: go your way, O my children, and ask mercy of Yahuah. 5 As for me, O Father, I call upon you for a witness over the mother of these children, which would not guard my covenant, 6 That you bring them to confusion, and their mother to a spoil, that there may be no offspring of them. 7 Let them be scattered abroad among the heathen, let their names be put out of the earth: for they have despised my covenant. 8 Woe be unto you, Ashshur, you that hide the unrighteous in you! O you wicked people, remember what I did unto Cedom and Amorah; 9 Whose land lies in clods of pitch and heaps of ashes: even so also will I do unto them that hear me not, says El Shaddai Yahuah.
10 Thus says Yahuah unto Ezra: Tell my people that I will give them the kingdom of Yerushalayim, which I would have given unto Yashar’el. 11 Their glory also will I take unto me, and give these the everlasting Tabernacles, which I had prepared for them. 12 They shall have the tree of life for an ointment of sweet savor; they shall neither labor, nor be weary. 13 Go, and ye shall receive: pray for few days unto you, that they may be shortened: the kingdom is already prepared for you: watch. 14 Take heaven and earth to witness; for I have broken the evil in pieces, and created the good: for I live, says Yahuah. 15 Mother, embrace your children, and bring them up with gladness, make their feet as fast as a pillar: for I have chosen you, says Yahuah. 16 And those that be dead will I raise up again from their places and bring them out of the graves: for I have known my name in Yashar’el. 17 Fear not, you mother of the children: for I have chosen you, says Yahuah. 18 For your help will I send my servants Esau and Yirmeyahu, after whose counsel I have sanctified and prepared for you twelve trees laden with diverse fruits, 19 And as many fountains flowing with milk and honey, and seven mighty mountains, whereupon there grow roses and lilies, whereby I will fill your children with joy. 20 Do right to the widow, judge for the fatherless, give to the poor, defend the orphan, clothe the naked, 21 Heal the broken and the weak, laugh not a lame man to scorn, defend the maimed, and let the blind man come into the sight of my clearness. 22 Keep the old and young within your walls. 23 Wheresoever you find the dead, take them and bury them, and I will give you the first place in my resurrection. 24 Abide still, O my people, and take your rest, for your quietness still come. 25 Nourish your children, O good nurse; establish their feet. 26 As for the servants whom I have given you, there shall not one of them perish; for I will require them from among your number. 27 Be not weary: for when the day of trouble and heaviness comes, others shall weep and be sorrowful, but you shall be merry and have abundance. 28 The heathen shall envy you, but they shall be able to do nothing against you, says Yahuah. 29 My hands shall cover you, so that your children shall not see She’ol. 30 Be joyful, O mother, with your children; for I will deliver you, says Yahuah. 31 Remember your children that sleep, for I shall bring them out of the sides of the earth and show mercy unto them: for I am merciful, says Yahuah Tseva’oth. 32 Embrace your children until I come and show mercy unto them: for my wells run over, and my grace shall not fail. 33 I Ezra received a charge of Yahuah upon Mount Orev, that I should go unto Yashar’el; but when I came unto them, they set me at naught, and despised the commandment of Yahuah. 34 And therefore I say unto you, O ye heathen, that hear and understand, look for your Shepherd, he shall give you everlasting rest; for he is nigh at hand, that shall come in the end of the world. 35 Be ready to the reward of the Kingdom, for the everlasting light shall shine upon you forevermore. 36 Flee the shadow of this world, receive the joyfulness of your glory: I testify my Savior openly. 37 O receive the gift that is given you, and be glad, giving thanks unto him that has led you to the heavenly kingdom. 38 Arise up and stand, behold the number of those that be sealed in the Feast of Yahuah; 39 Which are departed from the shadow of the world, and have received glorious garments of Yahuah. 40 Take your number, O Tsiyon, and shut up those of yours that are clothed in white, which have fulfilled the Torah of Yahuah. 41 The number of your children, whom you longed for, is fulfilled: beseech the power of Yahuah, that your people, who have been called from the beginning, may be hallowed. 42 I Ezra saw upon Mount Tsiyon a great people, whom I could not number, and they all praised Yahuah with songs. 43 And in the midst of them there was a young man of a high stature, taller than all the rest, and upon every one of their heads he set crowns, and was more exalted, which I marveled at greatly. 44 So I asked the angel, and said: Sir, what are these? 45 He answered and said unto me: These be they that have put off the mortal clothing, and put on the immortal, and have confessed the name of Elohiym: now are they crowned and receive palms. 46 Then said I unto the angel: What young person is it that crowns them, and gives them palms in their hands? 47 So he answered and said unto me: It is the Son of Elohiym, whom they have confessed in the world. Then began I greatly to commend them that stood so stiffly for the name of Yahuah. 48 Then the angel said unto me: Go your way, and tell my people what manner of things, and how great wonders of Yahuah Elohayka, you have seen.

View

Therefore you shall love את Yahuah Elohayka, and guard his watch, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, always. 2 And know ye this day: for I speak not with your children which have not known, and which have not seen the chastisement of Yahuah Elohaykem, his greatness, his mighty hand, and his stretched out arm, 3 And his miracles, and his acts, which he did in the midst of Mitsrayim unto Phar`oh the king of Mitsrayim, and unto all his land; 4 And what he did unto the army of Mitsrayim, unto their horses, and to their chariots; how he made the water of the Red Sea to overflow them as they pursued after you, and how Yahuah has destroyed them unto this day; 5 And what he did unto you in the wilderness, until ye came into this place; 6 And what he did unto Dathan and Aviyram, the sons of Eliy’av, the son of Re’uven: how the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and את all the substance that was in their possession, in the midst of all Yashar’el: 7 But your eyes have seen את all the great acts of Yahuah which he did. 8 Therefore shall ye guard all the commandments which I command you this day, that ye may be strong, and go in and possess the land, whither ye go to possess it; 9 And that ye may prolong your days in the land, which Yahuah swore seven oaths unto your fathers to give unto them and to their seed, a land that flows with milk and honey.
10 For the land, whither you go in to possess it, is not as the land of Mitsrayim, from whence ye came out, where you sowed your seed, and watered it with your foot, as a garden of herbs: 11 But the land, whither ye go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinks water of the rain of heaven: 12 A land which Yahuah Elohayka cares for: the eyes of Yahuah Elohayka are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.
13 And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love Yahuah Elohaykem, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul, 14 That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, and your wine, and your oil. 15 And I will send grass in your fields for your cattle, that you may eat and be full. 16 Guard yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other elohiym, and worship them; 17 And then Yahuah’s wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heavens, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which Yahuah gives you.
18 Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. 19 And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 20 And you shall write them upon the door posts of your house, and upon your gates: 21 That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which Yahuah swore seven oaths unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.
22 For if ye shall diligently guard all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love Yahuah Elohaykem, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him; 23 Then will Yahuah drive out all these nations from before you, and ye shall possess greater nations and mightier than yourselves. 24 Every place on which the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Perath, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be. 25 There shall no man be able to stand before you: for Yahuah Elohaykem shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as he has said unto you.
26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; 27 A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of Yahuah Elohaykem, which I command you this day: 28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of Yahuah Elohaykem but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other elohiym, which ye have not known. 29 And it shall come to pass, when Yahuah Elohayka has brought you in unto the land whither you go to possess it, that you shall put the blessing upon Mount Geriziym, and the curse upon Mount Eyval. 30 Are they not on the other side of the Yardan, by the way where the sun goes down, in the land of the Kena`aniym, which dwell in the plain over against Gilgal, beside the plains of Moreh? 31 For ye shall pass over the Yardan to go in to possess the land which Yahuah Elohaykem gives you, and ye shall possess it, and dwell therein. 32 And ye shall guard to do את all the commandments and judgments which I set before you this day.

View

And Elohiym spoke את all these words, saying: 2 I am Yahuah Elohayka, which have brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, out of the house of bondage.
3 You shall have no other elohiym before me.
4 You shall not make unto you any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 5 You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them: for I, Yahuah Elohayka am a jealous El, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6 And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and guard my commandments.
7 You shall not bring the name of Yahuah Elohayka to naught; for Yahuah will not hold him guiltless את that brings his name to naught.
8 Remember the day of the Shabbath, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shall you labor, and do all your work: 10 But the seventh day is the Shabbath of Yahuah Elohayka: in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates: 11 For in six days Yahuah made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yahuah blessed the day of Shabbath, and hallowed it.
12 Honor your father and your mother: that your days may be long upon the land which Yahuah Elohayka gives you.
13 You shall not kill.
14 You shall not break wedlock.
15 You shall not steal.
16 You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
17 You shall not lust after your neighbor's house, you shall not lust after your neighbor's woman, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is your neighbor's.
18 And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the shofar, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off. 19 And they said unto Mosheh: Speak with us, and we will hear: but let not Elohiym speak with us, lest we die. 20 And Mosheh said unto the people, Fear not: for Elohiym is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not. 21 And the people stood afar off, and Mosheh drew near unto the thick darkness where Elohiym was.
22 And Yahuah said unto Mosheh: Thus you shall say unto the children of Yashar’el: Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven. 23 Ye shall not make with me elohai of silver, neither shall ye make unto you elohai of gold.
24 An altar of earth you shall make unto me, and shall sacrifice thereon your ascending smoke offerings, and your peace offerings, your sheep, and your oxen: in all places where I record my name, I will come unto you, and I will bless you. 25 And if you will make me an altar of stone, you shall not build it of hewn stone: for if you lift up your tool upon it, you have polluted it. 26 Neither shall you go up by steps unto my altar, that your nakedness be not discovered thereon.

In the beginning Elohiym created את the heavens and את the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void;
View

In the beginning Elohiym created את the heavens and את the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Ruach Elohiym moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And Elohiym said: Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And Elohiym saw the light, that it was good: and Elohiym divided the light from the darkness. 5 And Elohiym called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
6 And Elohiym said: Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. 7 And Elohiym made the expanse and divided the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse: and it was so. 8 And Elohiym called the expanse Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
9 And Elohiym said: Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. 10 And Elohiym called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters he called Seas: and Elohiym saw that it was good. 11 And Elohiym said: Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and Elohiym saw that it was good. 13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.
14 And Elohiym said: Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for appointed feasts, and for days, and years: 15 And let them be for lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth: and it was so. 16 And Elohiym made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. 17 And Elohiym set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth, 18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and Elohiym saw that it was good. 19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
20 And Elohiym said: Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open expanse of heaven. 21 And Elohiym created great dragons, and את every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and את every winged fowl after his kind: and Elohiym saw that it was good. 22 And Elohiym blessed them, saying: Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. 23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
24 And Elohiym said: Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. 25 And Elohiym made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and את everything that creeps upon the earth after his kind: and Elohiym saw that it was good.
26 And Elohiym said: Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. 27 So Elohiym created man in his own image, in the image of Elohiym created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And Elohiym blessed them, and Elohiym said unto them: Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.
29 And Elohiym said: Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and את every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for food. 30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to everything that creeps upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given את every green herb for food: and it was so. 31 And Elohiym saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

View

For Yahuah will have mercy on Ya`aqov, and will yet choose Yashar’el, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Ya`aqov. 2 And the people shall take them and bring them to their place: and the house of Yashar’el shall possess them in the land of Yahuah for servants and handmaids: and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were, and they shall rule over their oppressors. 3 And it shall come to pass in the day that Yahuah shall give you rest from your sorrow, and from your fear, and from the hard bondage wherein you were made to serve,
4 That you shall take up this proverb against the king of Babel and say: How has the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased! 5 Yahuah has broken the staff of the wicked, and the scepter of the rulers. 6 He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hinders. 7 The whole earth is at rest and is quiet: they break forth into singing. 8 Yea, the fir trees rejoice at you, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying: Since you are laid down, no feller is come up against us. 9 She’ol from beneath is moved for you to meet you at your coming: it stirs up the Repha’iym for you, even all the chief ones of the earth; it has raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations. 10 All they shall speak and say unto you: Are you also become weak as we? Are you become like unto us? 11 Your pomp is brought down to She’ol, and the noise of your viols: the worm is spread under you, and the worms cover you. 12 How are you fallen from heaven, O Heylel, son of the howling morning! how are you cut down to the ground, which did weaken the nations! 13 For you have said in your heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of El: I will sit also upon the Mount of the assembly, in the sides of the north: 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like El Elyon. 15 Yet you shall be brought down to She’ol, to the sides of the pit. 16 They that see you shall narrowly look upon you, and consider you, saying: Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; 17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners? 18 All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, everyone in his own house. 19 But you are cast out of your grave like an abominable branch, and asthe raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcass trodden under feet. 20 You shall not be joined with them in burial, because you have destroyed your land, and slain your people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned. 21 Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities. 22 For I will rise up against them, says Yahuah Tseva’oth, and cut off from Babel the name, and remnant, and son, and nephew, says Yahuah. 23 I will also make it a possession for the bittern, and pools of water: and I will sweep it with the broom of destruction, says Yahuah Tseva’oth.
24 Yahuah Tseva’oth has sworn seven oaths, saying: Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand: 25 That I will break Ashshur in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders. 26 This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations. 27 For Yahuah Tseva’oth has purposed, and who shall disannul it? And his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back? 28 In the year that King Achaz died was this burden.
29 Rejoice not, whole Pelehsheth, because the rod of him that smote you is broken: for out of the serpent's root shall come forth a cockatrice, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent. 30 And the firstborn of the poor shall feed, and the needy shall lie down in safety: and I will kill your root with famine, and he shall slay your remnant. 31 Howl, O gate; cry, O city; you, whole Pelehsheth, are dissolved: for there shall come from the north a smoke, and none shall be alone in his appointed times. 32 What shall one then answer the messengers of the nation? That Yahuah has founded Tsiyon, and the poor of his people shall trust in it.

At the same time, says Yahuah, will I be the Elohiym of all the families of Yashar’el, and they shall be my people. 2 Thus says Yahuah: The people who were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Yashar’el, when I went to cause him to rest. 3 Yahuah has appeared of old unto me, saying: Yea, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn you. 4 Again I will build you, and you shall be built, O virgin of Yashar’el: you shall again be adorned with your tabrets and shall go forth in the dances of them that make merry. 5 You shall yet plant vines upon the mountains of Shomeron: the planters shall plant and shall eat them as common things. 6 For there shall be a day, that the Natsariym upon Mount Ephrayim shall cry: Arise ye and let us go up to Tsiyon unto El־Yahuah Elohaynu. 7 For thus says Yahuah; Sing with gladness for Ya`aqov, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O Yahuah, save your people, את the remnant of Yashar’el. 8 Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travails with child together: a great company shall return thither. 9 They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a Father to Yashar’el, and Ephrayim is my firstborn.
10 Hear the Word of Yahuah, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say: He that scattered Yashar’el will gather him, and guard him, as a shepherd his flock. 11 For Yahuah has redeemed Ya`aqov and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he. 12 Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Tsiyon, and shall flow together to the goodness of Yahuah, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow anymore at all. 13 Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow. 14 And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, says Yahuah.
15 Thus says Yahuah; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rachel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not. 16 Thus says Yahuah; Refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears: for your work shall be rewarded, says Yahuah; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy. 17 And there is hope in your end, says Yahuah, that your children shall come again to their own border.
18 I have surely heard Ephrayim bemoaning himself thus: You have chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn me, and I shall be turned; for you are Yahuah Elohai. 19 Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth. 20 Is Ephrayim my dear son? Is he a pleasant child? For since I spoke against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my heart is troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, says Yahuah. 21 Set you up waymarks, make you high heaps: set your heart toward the highway, even the way which you went: turn again, O virgin of Yashar’el, turn again to these your cities.
22 How long will you go about, O you backsliding daughter? For Yahuah has created a new thing in the earth: A woman shall compass a man. 23 Thus says Yahuah Tseva’oth, the Elohai of Yashar’el; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Yahudah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; Yahuah bless you, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness. 24 And there shall dwell in Yahudah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, husbandmen, and they that go forth with flocks. 25 For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul. 26 Upon this I awoke and beheld; and my sleep was sweet unto me.
27 Behold, the days come, says Yahuah, that I will sow the house of Yashar’el and the house of Yahudah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast. 28 And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, says Yahuah. 29 In those days they shall say no more: The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge. 30 But everyone shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eats the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.
31 Behold, the days come, says Yahuah, that I will cut a Renewed Covenant with the house of Yashar’el, and with the house of Yahudah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I cut with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Mitsrayim; which my covenant they broke, although I was a husband unto them, says Yahuah: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will cut with the house of Yashar’el; After those days, says Yahuah, I will put my Torah in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their Elohiym, and they shall be my people. 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying: Know Yahuah: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, says Yahuah: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
35 Thus says Yahuah, which gives the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divides the sea when the waves thereof roar; Yahuah Tseva’oth is his name: 36 If those ordinances depart from before me, says Yahuah, then the seed of Yashar’el also shall cease from being a nation before me forever. 37 Thus says Yahuah; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Yashar’el for all that they have done, says Yahuah.
38 Behold, the days come, says Yahuah, that the city shall be built to Yahuah from the tower of Chanan’el unto the gate of the corner. 39 And the measuring line shall yet go forth over against it upon the hill Garev and shall compass about to Go`athah. 40 And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Qidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto Yahuah; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down anymore forever.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with את Elohiym, and Elohiym was the Word. 2 The same was in the beginning with את Elohiym. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
6 There was a man sent from Elohiym, whose name was Yahuchanon. 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light, which lights every man that comes into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them he gave power to become the sons of Elohiym, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of Elohiym. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and tabernacled among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the yachiyd of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
15 Yahuchanon bore witness of him, and cried, saying: This was he of whom I spoke: He that comes after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. 16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. 17 For the Law was given through Mosheh, grace and truth came by Yahusha Ha’Mashiach. 18 את No man has seen Elohiym at any time; the yachiyd, which is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.
19 And this is the record of Yahuchanon, when the Yahudiym sent priests and Leviyiym from Yerushalayim to ask him: Who are you? 20 And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not Ha’Mashiach. 21 And they asked him: What then? Are you Eliyahu? And he said, I am not. Are you that prophet? And he answered, No. 22 Then said they unto him: Who are you? That we may give an answer to them that sent us. What say you of yourself?
23 He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the Way of Yahuah, as said the prophet Yesha`yahu. 24 And they which were sent were of the Parashiym. 25 And they asked him, and said unto him: Why baptize you then, if you be not that Mashiach, nor Eliyahu, neither that prophet? 26 Yahuchanon answered them, saying: I baptize with water: but there stands one among you, whom ye know not; 27 He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose. 28 These things were done in Beyt Avarah beyond the Yardan, where Yahuchanon was baptizing.
29 The next day Yahuchanon sees Yahusha coming unto him, and says: Behold the Lamb of Elohiym, which takes away the sin of the world. 30 This is he of whom I said: After me comes a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. 31 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Yashar’el, therefore am I come baptizing with water. 32 And Yahuchanon bore record, saying: I saw the Ruach descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. 33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me: Upon whom you את shall see the Ruach descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizes with the Ruach Ha’Qodesh. 34 And I saw and bore record that this is the Son of Elohiym.
35 Again the next day after Yahuchanon stood, and two of his Talmidiym; 36 And looking upon Yahusha as he walked, he said: Behold the Lamb of Elohiym! 37 And the two Talmidiym heard him speak, and they followed Yahusha. 38 Then Yahusha turned, and saw them following, and said unto them: What seek ye? They said unto him: Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Teacher,) where do you dwell? 39 He said unto them: Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour. 40 One of the two which heard Yahuchanon speak, and followed him, was Andrai, Shim`on Kepha's brother. 41 He first finds his own brother Shim`on and says unto him: We have found Ha’Mashiach. 42 And he brought him to Yahusha. And when Yahusha beheld him, he said, את You are Shim`on the son of Yonah, you shall be called Kepha, which is by interpretation: A stone.
43 The day following Yahusha would go forth into Galiyl, and find Philip, and say unto him, Follow me. 44 Now Philip was of Beyt Tsayad, the city of Andrai and Kepha. 45 Philip finds Nethan’el, and says unto him: We have found him, of whom Mosheh in the Law, and the prophets, did write, Yahusha of Natsareth, the son of Yoceph. 46 And Nethan’el said unto him: Can there any good thing את come out of Natsareth? Philip said unto him: Come and see. 47 Yahusha saw Nethan’el coming to him and said of him: Behold a Yashar`e’liy indeed, in whom is no guile! 48 Nethan’el said unto him: from whence do you know me? Yahusha answered and said unto him: Before that Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you. 49 Nethan’el answered and said unto him: Rabbi, you are the Son of Elohiym; you are the King of Yashar’el. 50 Yahusha answered and said unto him: Because I said unto you, I saw you under the fig tree, you believe? You shall see greater things than these. 51 And he said unto him: Amein, Amein, I say unto you: Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of Elohiym ascending and descending upon the Son of A’dam.

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in Elohiym, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. 5 Ta’om said unto him: Adonai, we know not whither you go; and how can we know the way? 6 Yahusha said unto him: I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me. 7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him and have seen him. 8 Philip said unto him: Adonai, show us the Father, and it suffices us. 9 Yahusha said unto him: Have I been so long time with you, and yet have you not known me, Philip? He that has seen me has seen the Father; and how say you then, show us the Father? 10 Believe you not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwells in me, he does the works. 11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. 12 Amein, Amein, I say unto you: He that believes on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.
15 If ye love me, guard my commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; 17 Even the Ruach Emeth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither knows him: but ye know him; for he dwells with you and shall be in you. 18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 19 Yet a little while, and the world sees me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. 20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. 21 He that has my commandments, and guards them, he it is that loves me: and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. 22 Yahudah said unto him: not Iyshqiryot: Adonai, how is it that you will manifest yourself unto us, and not unto the world? 23 Yahusha answered and said unto him: If a man loves me, he will guard my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24 He that loves me not guards not my words: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me. 25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. 26 But the Comforter, which is the Ruach Ha’Qodesh, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. 27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. 28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I. 29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe. 30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world comes and has nothing in me. 31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

And Yahuah spoke unto Mosheh, saying: 2 Speak unto the children of Yashar’el, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of Yahuah, which ye shall proclaim to be holy assemblies, even these are my feasts. 3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the Shabbath of rest, a holy assembly; ye shall do no work therein: it is the Shabbath of Yahuah in all your dwellings.
4 These are the feasts of Yahuah, even holy assemblies, which ye shall proclaim in their appointed times. 5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is Yahuah’s Pecach. 6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast of Matstsah unto Yahuah: seven days ye must eat matstsah. 7 In the first day ye shall have a holy assembly: ye shall do no servile work therein. 8 But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yahuah seven days: in the seventh day is a holy assembly: ye shall do no servile work therein.
9 And Yahuah spoke unto Mosheh, saying: 10 Speak unto the children of Yashar’el, and say unto them: When ye are come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest unto the priest: 11 And he shall wave the sheaf before Yahuah, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the Shabbath the priest shall wave it. 12 And ye shall offer that day when ye wave the sheaf a he-lamb without blemish of the first year for an ascending smoke offering unto Yahuah. 13 And the oblation thereof shall be two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto Yahuah for a sweet savor: and the drink offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of a hin. 14 And ye shall eat neither bread, nor parched grain, nor green ears, until the selfsame day that ye have brought an offering unto your Elohiym: it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
15 And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the Shabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Shabbaths shall be complete: 16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh Shabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a renewed oblation unto Yahuah. 17 Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baked with leaven; they are the first fruits unto Yahuah. 18 And ye shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year, and one young bullock, and two rams: they shall be for an ascending smoke offering unto Yahuah, with their oblation, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of sweet savor unto Yahuah. 19 Then ye shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a sin offering, and two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace offerings. 20 And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the first fruits for a wave offering before Yahuah, with the two lambs: they shall be holy to Yahuah for the priest. 21 And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be a holy assembly unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.
22 And when ye reap the harvest of your land, you shall not make clean riddance of the corners of your field when you reap, neither shall you gather any gleaning of your harvest: you shall leave them unto the poor, and to the stranger: I am Yahuah Elohaykem.
23 And Yahuah spoke unto Mosheh, saying: 24 Speak unto the children of Yashar’el, saying: In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a Shabbath, a memorial of blowing of shofars, a holy assembly. 25 Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yahuah.
26 And Yahuah spoke unto Mosheh, saying: 27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month is Yom Kippuriym: it shall be a holy assembly unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto Yahuah. 28 And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is Yom Kippuriym, to make an atonement for you before Yahuah Elohaykem. 29 For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people. 30 And whatsoever soul it be that does any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people. 31 Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings. 32 It shall be unto you a Shabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at evening, from evening unto evening, shall ye celebrate your Shabbath.
33 And Yahuah spoke unto Mosheh, saying: 34 Speak unto the children of Yashar’el, saying: The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the Feast of Cukkoth for seven days unto Yahuah. 35 On the first day shall be a holy assembly: ye shall do no servile work therein. 36 Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yahuah: on the eighth day shall be a holy assembly unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yahuah: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein. 37 These are the feasts of Yahuah, which ye shall proclaim to be holy assemblies, to offer an offering made by fire unto Yahuah, an ascending smoke offering, and an oblation, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, everything upon his day: 38 Beside the Shabbaths of Yahuah, and beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill offerings, which ye give unto Yahuah. 39 Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto Yahuah seven days: on the first day shall be a Shabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a Shabbath. 40 And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before Yahuah Elohaykem seven days. 41 And ye shall keep it a feast unto Yahuah seven days in the year. It shall be a statute forever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month. 42 Ye shall dwell in cukkoth seven days; all that are Yashar’el born shall dwell in cukkoth: 43 That your generations may know that I made the children of Yashar’el to dwell in cukkoth, when I brought them out of the land of Mitsrayim: I am Yahuah Elohaykem. 44 And Mosheh declared unto the children of Yashar’el the feasts of Yahuah.

The cepher of the generation of Yahusha Ha’Mashiach, the son of David, the son of Avraham. 2 Avraham begat Yitschaq; and Yitschaq begat Ya`aqov; and Ya`aqov begat Yahudah and his brethren; 3 And Yahudah begat Perets and Zerach of Tamar; and Perets begat Chetsron; and Chetsron begat Aram; 4 And Aram begat Ammiynadav; and Ammiynadav begat Nachshon; and Nachshon begat Salmah; 5 And Salmah begat Bo`az of Rachav; and Bo`az begat Oved of R’oth; and Oved begat Yishai; 6 And Yishai begat David the king; and David the king begat Shalomah of her that had been the woman of Uriyahu; 7 And Shalomah begat Rechav`am; and Rechav`am begat Aviyahu; and Aviyahu begat Aca; 8 And Aca begat Yahushaphat; and Yahushaphat begat Yoram; and Yoram begat את Uzziyahu; 9 And Uzziyahu begat Yotham; and Yotham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Yechizqiyahu; 10 And Yechizqiyahu begat Menashsheh; and Menashsheh begat Amon; and Amon begat Yo’shiyahu; 11 And Yo’shiyahu begat Yekonyahu and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babel: 12 And after they were brought to Babel, Yekonyahu את begat She’altiy’el; and She’altiy’el begat Zerubbavel; 13 And Zerubbavel begat Aviyhud; and Aviyhud begat Elyaqiym; and Elyaqiym begat את Azzur; 14 And Azzur begat Tsadoq; and Tsadoq begat Yoqiym; and Yoqiym begat El’ayil; 15 And El’ayil begat El`azar; and El`azar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Ya`aqov; 16 And Ya`aqov begat Yoceph the father of Miryam, of whom was born Yahusha, who is called Mashiach. 17 So all the generations from Avraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babel are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babel unto Mashiach are fourteen generations.
18 Now the birth of Yahusha Ha’Mashiach was on this wise: When as his mother Miryam was espoused to Yoceph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Ruach Ha’Qodesh. 19 Then Yoceph her man, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily. 20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of Yah appeared unto him in a dream, saying: Yoceph, son of David, fear not to take unto you את Miryam your woman: for that which is conceived in her is of the Ruach Ha’Qodesh. 21 And she shall bring forth a son, and you shall call his name Yahusha: for he shall save his people from their sins. 22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of Yah by the prophet, saying:
23 Behold! a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call the name of the same Immanu’el, which being interpreted is: our El is with me.
24 Then Yoceph being raised from sleep did as the angel of Yah had bidden him and took unto him his woman: 25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name Yahusha.

Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. 2 Therefore when you do your alms, do not sound a shofar before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Amein I say unto you: They have את their reward. 3 But when you do alms, let not your left hand know את what your right hand does: 4 That your alms may be in secret: and your Father which sees in secret himself shall reward you openly.
5 And when you pray, you shall not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Amein I say unto you: They have את their reward. 6 But you, when you pray, enter into your closet, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father which is in secret; and your Father which sees in secret shall reward you openly. 7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knows what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
9 After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father who established yeshu`ah in the heavens, exalted is your name. 10 Your Kingdom come. Your will be done in earth, as in the heavens. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our transgressions, as we forgive those who transgress against us. 13 And lead us away from the evil inclination but deliver us from the outer darkness: For yours is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amein.
14 For if ye forgive men their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15 But if ye forgive not men their transgressions, neither will your Father forgive your transgressions.
16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Amein I say unto you: They have their reward. 17 But you, when you fast, anoint your head, and wash your face; 18 That you appear not unto men to fast, but unto your Father which is in secret: and your Father, which sees in secret, shall reward you openly.
19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust do corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust do corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. 22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore your eye be single, your whole body shall be full of light. 23 But if your eye be evil, your whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you be darkness, how great is that darkness! 24 No man can serve two adoniym: for either he will hate the one, and את love the other; or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. Ye cannot serve Elohiym and mammon.
25 Therefore I say unto you: Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than food, and the body than raiment? 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are ye not much better than they? 27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29 And yet I say unto you: That even Shalomah in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Wherefore, if Elohiym so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31 Therefore take no thought, saying: What shall we eat? Or: What shall we drink? Or: Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the other nations seek:) for your heavenly Father knows that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the Kingdom of Elohiym, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

And Yahuah spoke unto El־Mosheh, saying: 2 Speak unto the children of Yashar’el, and say unto them: When either man or woman shall separate themselves to vow a vow of a Naziyr, to separate themselves unto Yahuah: 3 He shall separate himself from wine and strong drink, and shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat moist grapes, or dried. 4 All the days of his separation shall he eat nothing that is made of the vine tree, from the kernels even to the husk. 5 All the days of the vow of his separation there shall no razor come upon his head: until the days be fulfilled, in the which he separates himself unto Yahuah, he shall be holy, and shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow. 6 All the days that he separates himself unto Yahuah he shall come at no dead body. 7 He shall not make himself unclean for his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister, when they die: because the consecration of his Elohiym is upon his head. 8 All the days of his separation he is holy unto Yahuah. 9 And if any man dies very suddenly by him, and he has defiled the head of his consecration; then he shall shave his head in the day of his cleansing, on the seventh day shall he shave it. 10 And on the eighth day he shall bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, to the priest, to the door of the Tabernacle of the assembly: 11 And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for an ascending smoke offering, and make an atonement for him, for that he sinned by the dead, and shall hallow his head that same day. 12 And he shall consecrate unto Yahuah the days of his separation and shall bring a lamb of the first year for a trespass offering: but the days that were before shall be lost, because his separation was defiled.
13 And this is the Torah of the Naziyr, when the days of his separation are fulfilled: he shall be brought unto the door of the Tabernacle of the assembly: 14 And he shall offer his offering unto Yahuah, one he lamb of the first year without blemish for an ascending smoke offering, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish for a sin offering, and one ram without blemish for peace offerings, 15 And a basket of matstsah, cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, and wafers of matstsah anointed with oil, and their oblation, and their drink offerings. 16 And the priest shall bring them before Yahuah, and shall offer his sin offering, and his ascending smoke offering: 17 And he shall offer the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings unto Yahuah, with the basket of matstsah: the priest shall offer also his oblation, and his drink offering. 18 And the Naziyr shall shave the head of his separation at the door of the Tabernacle of the assembly and shall take the hair of the head of his separation and put it in the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace offerings. 19 And the priest shall take the sodden shoulder of the ram, and one matstsah cake out of the basket, and one matstsah wafer, and shall put them upon the hands of the Naziyr, after the hair of his separation is shaven: 20 And the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before Yahuah: this is holy for the priest, with the wave breast and heave shoulder: and after that the Naziyr may drink wine. 21 This is the Torah of the Naziyr who has vowed, and of his offering unto Yahuah for his separation, beside that that his hand shall get: according to the vow which he vowed, so he must do after the Torah of his separation.
22 And Yahuah spoke unto Mosheh, saying: 23 Speak unto El־Aharon and unto his sons, saying: On this wise ye shall bless the children of Yashar’el, saying unto them, 24 Yahuah bless you, and guard you: 25 Yahuah make his face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you: 26 Yahuah lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace. 27 And they shall put my name upon the children of Yashar’el; and I will bless them.

If there be therefore any consolation in Mashiach, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Ruach, if any affection and mercy, 2 Fulfil my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. 3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. 4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. 5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Mashiach Yahusha: 6 Who, being in the form of Elohiym, thought it not robbery to be equal with Elohiym: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore Elohiym also has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Yahusha every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Yahuah is Yahusha Ha’Mashiach, to the glory of Elohiym the Father. 12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13 For it is Elohiym which works in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings: 15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of Elohiym, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; 16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Mashiach, that I have not run in vain, neither labored in vain. 17 Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all. 18 For the same cause also do ye joy and rejoice with me.
19 But I trust in Adonai Yahusha to send Timotheus shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state. 20 For I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your state. 21 For all את seek their own, not the things which are Yahusha Ha’Mashiach’s. 22 But ye know the proof of him, that, as a son with the father, he has served with me in the Besorah. 23 Him therefore I hope to send presently, so soon as I shall see how it will go with me. 24 But I trust in Yahuah that I also myself shall come shortly. 25 Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labor, and fellow soldier, but your messenger, and he that ministered to my wants. 26 For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because that ye had heard that he had been sick. 27 For indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but Elohiym had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow. 28 I sent him therefore the more carefully, that, when ye see him again, ye may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful. 29 Receive him therefore in Yahuah with all gladness; and hold such in reputation: 30 Because for the work of Mashiach he was nigh unto death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me.

He who dwells in the secret place of El Elyon shall abide under the shadow of El Shaddai. 2 I will say of Yahuah, He is my refuge and my fortress: my Elohiym; in him will I trust. 3 Surely, he shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. 4 He shall cover you with his feathers, and under his wings shall you trust: his truth shall be your shield and buckler. 5 You shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flies by day; 6 Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday. 7 A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come nigh you. 8 Only with your eyes shall you behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because you have made Yahuah, which is my refuge, even El Elyon, your habitation; 10 There shall no evil befall you, neither shall any plague come nigh your dwelling. 11 For he shall give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways. 12 They shall bear you up in their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone. 13 You shall tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shall you trample under feet. 14 Because he has set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he has known my name. 15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life will I satisfy him and show him my yeshu`ah.

View

And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. 4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying: Who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him? 5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. 6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against Elohiym, to blaspheme his name, and his Tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. 7 And it was given unto him to make war with the qodeshiym, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. 8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the cepher of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. 9 If any man has an ear, let him hear. 10 He that leads into captivity shall go into captivity: he that kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the qodeshiym.
11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon. 12 And he exercises all the power of the first beast before him and causes the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 And he does great wonders, so that he makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, 14 And deceives them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. 16 And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that has understanding calculate the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is χξς.

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Mashiach Yahusha, who walk not after
View

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Mashiach Yahusha, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Ruach. 2 For the Torah of the Ruach Chayiym in Mashiach Yahusha has made me free from the Law of sin and death. 3 For what was impossible under the Law for the flesh to do, Elohiym did in sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the Torah might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Ruach. 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Ruach the things of the Ruach. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against Elohiym: for it is not subject to the Torah of Elohiym, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please Elohiym. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Ruach, if so be that the Ruach Elohiym dwell in you. Now if any man has not the Ruach Mashiach, he is not his. 10 And if Mashiach be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Ruach is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Ruach of him that raised up Yahusha from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Mashiach from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Ruach that dwells in you. 12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Ruach do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Ruach Elohiym, they are the sons of Elohiym. 15 For ye have not received the ruach of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Ruach Aymots, whereby we cry: Abba, Father. 16 The Ruach itself bears witness with our ruach, that we are the children of Elohiym: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of Elohiym, and joint heirs with Mashiach; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waits for the manifestation of the sons of Elohiym. 20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who has subjected the same in hope, 21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of Elohiym. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now. 23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Ruach, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. 24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man sees, why does he yet hope for? 25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. 26 Likewise the Ruach also helps our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Ruach itself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Ruach is because he makes intercession for the qodeshiym according to the will of Elohiym. 28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love Elohiym, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom את he did foreknow, he also did predetermine to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predetermine, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. 31 What shall we then say to these things? If Elohiym be for us, who can be against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall lay anything to the charge of Elohiym’s elect? It is Elohiym that justifies. 34 Who is he who condemns? It is Yahusha Ha’Mashiach that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of Elohiym, who also makes intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Mashiach? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written,
For your sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of Elohiym, which is in Mashiach Yahusha our Adonai.

View

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not love, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not love, it profits me nothing. 4 Love suffers long and is kind; love envies not; love does not vaunt itself, is not puffed up, 5 Does not behave itself unseemly, את seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil; 6 Rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the Truth; 7 Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. 13 And now abides faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Chapter 9 Why do you delay, O tyrant? For we are readier to die than to transgress the injunctions of our fathers.

Chapter 9

Why do you delay, O tyrant? For we are readier to die than to transgress the injunctions of our fathers. 2 And we should be disgracing our fathers if we did not obey the Torah and take knowledge for our guide. 3 O tyrant, counselor of Torah breaking, do not, hating us as you do, pity us more than we pity ourselves. 4 Or we account escape to be worse than death. 5 And you think to scare us, by threatening us with death by tortures, as though you had learned nothing by the death of El`azar. 6 But if aged men of the Ivriym have died in the cause of the faith after enduring torture, more rightly should we younger men die, scorning your cruel tortures, which our aged instructor overcame. 7 Make the attempt, then, O tyrant; and if you put us to death for our faith, think not that you harm us by torturing us. 8 For we through this ill treatment and endurance shall bear off the rewards of virtue. 9 But you, for the wicked and despotic slaughter of us, shall, from the divine vengeance, endure eternal torture by fire.
10 When they had thus spoken, the tyrant was not only exasperated against them as being refractory but enraged with them as being ungrateful. 11 So that, at his bidding, the torturers brought forth the eldest of them, and tearing through his tunic, bound his hands and arms on each side with thongs. 12 And when they had labored hard without effect in scourging him, they hurled him upon the wheel. 13 And the noble youth, extended upon this, became dislocated. 14 And with every member disjointed, he exclaimed in expostulation, 15 O most accursed tyrant, and enemy of heavenly justice, and cruel hearted, I am no murderer, nor sacrilegious man, whom you thus ill use: but a defender of the divine Torah. 16 And when the spearmen said: Consent to eat, that you may be released from your tortures, 17 he answered: Not so powerful, O accursed ministers, is your wheel, as to stifle my reasoning; cut my limbs, and burn my flesh, and twist my joints. 18 For through all my torments I will convince you that the children of the Ivriym are alone unconquered on behalf of virtue. 19 While he was saying this, they heaped up fuel, and setting fire to it, strained him upon the wheel still more. 20 And the wheel was defiled all over with blood, and the hot ashes were quenched by the droppings of gore, and pieces of flesh were scattered about the axles of the machine. 21 And although the framework of his bones was now destroyed the high minded and Avrahamic youth did not groan. 22 But, as though transformed by fire into immortality, he nobly endured the rackings, saying. 23 Imitate me, O brethren, nor ever desert your station, nor abjure my brotherhood in courage: fight the holy and honorable fight of the faith; 24 by which means our just and paternal providence, becoming merciful to the nation, will punish the pestilent tyrant.
25 And saying this, the revered youth abruptly closed his life. 26 And when all admired his courageous soul, the spearmen brought forward him who was second in point of age, and having put on iron hands, bound him with pointed hooks to the catapult. 27 And when, on inquiring whether he would eat before he was tortured, they heard his noble sentiment, 28 after they with the iron hands had violently dragged all the flesh from the neck to the chin, the panther like beasts tore off the very skin of his head: but he, bearing with firmness this misery, said, 29 How sweet is every form of death for the faith of our fathers! and he said to the tyrant, 30 Think you not, most cruel of all tyrants, that you are now tortured more than I, finding your overweening conception of tyranny conquered by our patience in behalf of our faith? 31 For I lighten my suffering by the pleasures which are connected with virtue. 32 But you are tortured with threatening for impiety; and you shall not escape, most corrupt tyrant, the vengeance of divine wrath.

Chapter 10

Now this one, having endured this praiseworthy death, the third was brought along, and exhorted by many to taste and save his life. 2 But he cried out and said: Know ye not, that the father of those who are dead, begat me also; and that the same mother bore me; and that I was brought up in the same tenets? 3 I abjure not the noble relationship of my brethren. 4 Now then, whatsoever instrument of vengeance ye have, apply it to my body, for ye are not able to touch, even if ye wish it, my soul.
5 But they, highly incensed at his boldness of speech, dislocated his hands and feet with racking engines, and wrenching them from their sockets, dismembered him. 6 And they dragged round his fingers, and his arms, and his legs, and his ankles. 7 And not being able by any means to strangle him, they tore off his skin, together with the extreme tips of his fingers, flayed him, and then haled him to the wheel; 8 around which his vertebral joints were loosened, and he saw his own flesh torn to shreds, and streams of blood flowing from his entrails. 9 And when about to die, he said,
10 We, O accursed tyrant, suffer this for the sake of divine education and virtue. 11 But you, for your impiety and blood shedding, shall endure indissoluble torments.
12 And thus having died worthily of his brethren, they dragged forward the fourth, saying: 13 Do not share the madness of your brethren: but give regard to the king, and save yourself. 14 But he said to them: You have not a fire so scorching as to make me play the coward. 15 By the blessed death of my brethren, and the eternal punishment of the tyrant, and the glorious life of the pious, I will not repudiate the noble brotherhood. 16 Invent, O tyrant, tortures; that you may learn, even through them, that I am the brother of those tormented before. 17 When he had said this, the blood thirsty, and murderous, and unhallowed Antiochus ordered his tongue to be cut out. 18 But he said: Even if you take away the organ of speech, yet Elohiym hears the silent. 19 Behold, my tongue is extended, cut it off; for not for that shall you extirpate our reasoning. 20 Gladly do we lose our limbs on behalf of Elohiym. 21 But Elohiym shall speedily find you, since you cut off the tongue, the instrument of divine melody.

Chapter 11

And when he had died, disfigured in his torments, the fifth leaped forward, and said,
2 I intend not, O tyrant, to get excused from the torment which is on behalf of virtue. 3 But I have come of my own accord, that by the death of me, you may owe heavenly vengeance a punishment for more crimes. 4 O hater of virtue and of men, what have we done that you thus revel in our blood? 5 Does it seem evil to you that we worship the founder of all things, and live according to his surpassing Torah? 6 But this is worthy of honors, not torments; 7 had you been capable of the higher feelings of men and possessed the hope of yeshu`ah from Elohiym. 8 Behold now, being alien from Elohiym, you make war against those who are observant toward Elohiym.
9 As he said this, the spear bearers bound him, and drew him to the catapult: 10 To which binding him at his knees, and fastening them with iron fetters, they bent down his loins upon the wedge of the wheel; and his body was then dismembered, scorpion fashion. 11 With his breath thus confined, and his body strangled, he said, 12 A great favor you bestow upon us, O tyrant, by enabling us to manifest our adherence to the Torah by means of nobler sufferings.
13 He also being dead, the sixth, quite a youth, was brought out; and on the tyrant asking him whether he would eat and be delivered, he said, 14 I am indeed younger than my brothers, but in understanding I am as old; 15 for having been born and reared unto the same end, we are bound to die also on behalf of the same cause. 16 So that if ye think proper to torment us for not eating the unclean, torment! 17 As he said this, they brought him to the wheel. 18 Extended upon which, with limbs racked and dislocated, he was gradually roasted from beneath. 19 And having heated sharp spits, they approached them to his back; and having transfixed his sides, they burned away his entrails. 20 And he, while tormented, said, O period good and holy, in which, for the sake of the faith, we brethren have been called to the contest of pain, and have not been conquered. 21 For observant understanding, O tyrant, is unconquered. 22 Armed with upright virtue, I also shall depart with my brethren. 23 I, too, bearing with me a great avenger, O deviser of tortures, and enemy of the truly pious. 24 We six youths have destroyed your tyranny. 25 For is not your inability to overrule our reasoning, and to compel us to eat the unclean, your destruction? 26 Your fire is cold to us, your catapults are painless, and your violence harmless. 27 For the guards not of a tyrant but of a divine Torah are our defenders: through this we keep our reasoning unconquered.

Chapter 12

When he, too, had undergone blessed martyrdom, and died in the caldron into which he had been thrown, the seventh, the youngest of all, came forward: 2 whom the tyrant pitying, though he had been dreadfully reproached by his brethren, 3 seeing him already encompassed with chains, had him brought nearer, and endeavored to counsel him, saying:
4 You see the end of the madness of your brethren: for they have died to torture through disobedience; and you, if disobedient, having been miserably tormented, will yourself perish prematurely. 5 But if you obey, you shall be my friend, and have a charge over the affairs of the kingdom. 6 And having thus exhorted him, he sent for the mother of the boy; that, by condoling with her for the loss of so many sons, he might incline her, through the hope of safety, to render the survivor obedient. 7 And he, after his mother had urged him on in the Ivriyt tongue, (as we shall soon relate) said, 8 Release me that I may speak to the king and all his friends. 9 And they, rejoicing exceedingly at the promise of the youth, quickly let him go. 10 And he, running up to the pans, said, 11 Impious tyrant, and most blasphemous man, were you not ashamed, having received prosperity and a kingdom from Elohiym, to slay His servants, and to rack the doers of holiness? 12 Wherefore the divine vengeance is reserving you for eternal fire and torments, which shall cling to you for all time. 13 Were you not ashamed, man as you are, yet most savage, to cut out the tongues of men of like feeling and origin, and having thus abused to torture them? 14 But they, bravely dying, fulfilled their faith towards Elohiym. 15 But you shall groan according to your deserts for having slain without cause the champions of virtue. 16 Wherefore, he continued, I myself, being about to die, 17 will not forsake my brethren. 18 And I call upon the Elohiym of my fathers to be merciful to my race. 19 But you, both living and dead, he will punish.
20 Thus having prayed, he hurled himself into the pans; and so expired.

Chapter 13

If then, the seven brethren despised troubles even unto death, it is confessed on all sides that righteous reasoning is absolute master over the passions. 2 For just as if, had they as slaves to the passions, eaten of the unholy, we should have said that they had been conquered by them; 3 now it is not so: but by means of the reasoning which is praised by Elohiym, they mastered their passions. 4 And it is impossible to overlook the leadership of reflection: for it gained the victory over both passions and troubles. 5 How, then, can we avoid according to these men mastery of passion through right reasoning, since they drew not back from the pains of fire? 6 For just as by means of towers projecting in front of harbors men break the threatening waves, and thus assure a still course to vessels entering port, 7 so that seven towered right reasoning of the young men, securing the harbor of the faith, conquered the intemperance of passions. 8 For having arranged a holy choir of piety, they encouraged one another, saying: 9 Brothers, may we die brotherly for the Torah. Let us imitate the three young men in Ashshur who despised the equally afflicting furnace. 10 Let us not be cowards in the manifestation of piety. 11 And one said: Courage, brother; and another: Nobly endure. 12 And another: Remember of what stock ye are; and by the hand of our father Yitschaq endured to be slain for the sake of piety. 13 And one and all, looking on each other serene and confident, said: Let us sacrifice with all our heart our souls to Elohiym who gave them, and employ our bodies for the keeping of the Torah. 14 Let us not fear him who thinks he kills; 15 for great is the trial of soul and danger of eternal torment laid up for those who transgress the commandment of Elohiym. 16 Let us arm ourselves, therefore, in the abnegation of the divine reasoning. 17 If we suffer thus, Avraham, and Yitschaq, and Ya`aqov will receive us, and all the fathers will commend us. 18 And as each one of the brethren was haled away, the rest exclaimed: Disgrace us not, O brother, nor falsify those who died before you. 19 Now you are not ignorant of the charm of brotherhood, which the divine and all wise providence has imparted through fathers to children and has engendered through the mother's womb. 20 In which these brothers having remained an equal time, and having been formed for the same period, and been increased by the same blood, and having been perfected through the same principle of life, 21 and having been brought forth at equal intervals, and having sucked milk from the same fountains, hence their brotherly souls are reared up lovingly together; 22 and increase the more powerfully by reason of this simultaneous rearing, and by daily intercourse, and by other education, and exercise in the Torah of Elohiym. 23 Brotherly love being thus sympathetically constituted, the seven brethren had a more sympathetic mutual harmony. 24 For being educated in the same Torah, and practicing the same virtues, and reared up in a just course of life, they increased this harmony with each other. 25 For a like ardor for what is right and honorable increased their fellow feeling towards each other. 26 For it acting along with the faith, made their brotherly feeling more desirable to them. 27 And yet, although nature and intercourse and virtuous morals increased their brotherly love those who were left endured to behold their brethren, who were ill used for their faith, tortured even unto death.

Chapter 9

In the first year of Dareyavesh the son of Achashverosh, of the seed of the Madai, which was made king over the realm of the Kasdiym; 2 In the first year of his reign I Daniy’el understood by the cepheriym the number of the years, whereof the Word of Yahuah came to Yirmeyahu the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Yerushalayim.
3 And I set my face unto El־Adonai Elohiym, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes: 4 And I prayed unto Adonai Elohai, and made my confession, and said,
O Yahuah, the great and dreadful El, guarding the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that guard his commandments; 5 We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from your precepts and from your judgments: 6 Neither have we hearkened unto your servants the prophets, which spoke in your name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. 7 O Adonai, righteousness belongs unto you, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Yahudah, and to the inhabitants of Yerushalayim, and unto all Yashar’el, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither you have driven them, because of their transgression that they have transgressed against you. 8 O Yahuah, to us belongs confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against you. 9 To Adonai Elohaynu belongs compassion and forgiveness, though we have rebelled against him; 10 Neither have we obeyed the voice of Yahuah Elohaynu, to walk in his Torah, which he set before us by his servants the prophets. 11 Yea, all Yashar’el have transgressed your Torah, even by departing, that they might not obey your voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the Torah of Mosheh the servant of Elohiym, because we have sinned against him. 12 And he has confirmed his words, which he spoke against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven has not been done as has been done upon Yerushalayim. 13 As it is written in the Torah of Mosheh, את all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before Yahuah Elohaynu, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand your Truth. 14 Therefore has Yahuah watched upon the evil and brought it upon us: for Yahuah Elohaynu is righteous in all his works which he does: for we obeyed not his voice. 15 And now, O Adonai Elohaynu, that has brought your people forth out of the land of Mitsrayim with a mighty hand, and has gotten you renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.
16 O Adonai, according to all your righteousness, I beseech you, let your anger and your fury be turned away from your city Yerushalayim, your holy mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Yerushalayim and your people are become a reproach to all that are about us. 17 Now therefore, O Elohaynu, hear the prayer of your servant, and his supplications, and cause your face to shine upon your sanctuary that is desolate, for Adonai’s sake. 18 O Elohai, incline your ear, and hear; open your eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by your name: for we do not present our supplications before you for our righteousness, but for your great mercies. 19 O Adonai, hear; O Adonai, forgive; O Adonai, hearken and do; defer not, for your own sake, O Elohai: for your city and your people are called by your name.
20 And while I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Yashar’el and presenting my supplication before Yahuah Elohai for the holy mountain of my Elohiym; 21 Yea, while I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gavriy’el, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. 22 And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniy’el, I am now come forth to give you skill and understanding. 23 At the beginning of your supplications the word came forth, and I am come to show you; for you are greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter and consider the vision. 24 Seventy weeks are determined for the people and the holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make atonement834 for iniquity, and to bring everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and the prophet, and to anoint the Holy of Holies. 25 Know and understand, that from the going forth of the word to return and to build Yerushalayim until Mashiach the Prince is seven weeks; and threescore and two weeks; diligently building the wide street in times of distress. 26 And after the threescore and two weeks, Mashiach is cut off, but nothing of the holy city is ruined: and the people of the prince to come the end of which is in a flood and even unto the end of the battle, devastation is determined. 27 And the strength of the covenant multiplies for one week: and in the middle of the week, the sacrifice and the oblation cease, and upon the end, abominations destroy, until the consummation is determined and poured over the desolation.

Chapter 10

In the third year of Koresh king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniy’el, whose name was called Ba`altesha’tstsar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing and had understanding of the vision. 2 In those days I Daniy’el was mourning three full weeks. 3 I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled. 4 And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Chiddeqel; 5 Then I lifted up my eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz: 6 His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in color to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude. 7 And I Daniy’el alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves. 8 Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength. 9 Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.
10 And, behold, a hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands. 11 And he said unto me, O Daniy’el, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto you, and stand upright: for unto you am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling. 12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniy’el, for from the first day that you did set your heart to understand, and to chasten yourself before your Elohiym, your words were heard, and I am come for your words. 13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Miyka’el, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. 14 Now I am come to make you understand את what shall befall your people in the latter days: for yet the vision isfor many days. 15 And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb. 16 And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spoke, and said unto him that stood before me, O adoniy, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength. 17 For how can the servant of this my adoniy talk with this my adoniy? For as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me. 18 Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me, 19 And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto you, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said: Let my adoniy speak; for you have strengthened me. 20 Then said he: Know you wherefore I come unto you? And now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Yavan shall come. 21 But I will show you that which is noted in the Scripture of Truth: and there is none that holds with me in these things, but Miyka’el your prince.

Chapter 11

Also I in the first year of Dareyavesh the Madai, even I, stood to confirm and to strengthen him. 2 And now will I show you the Truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against את the realm of Yavan. 3 And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will. 4 And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those.
5 And ha’melek Ha’Negev shall be strong, and one of his princes; and he shall be strong above him and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion. 6 And in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the daughter of ha’melek Ha’Negev shall come to ha’melek Ha’Tsaphon836 to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times. 7 But out of a branch of her roots shall one stand up in his estate, which shall come with an army, and shall enter into the fortress of ha’melek Ha’Tsaphon, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail: 8 And shall also carry captives into Mitsrayim their elohiym, with their princes, and with their precious vessels of silver and of gold; and he shall continue more years than ha’melek Ha’Tsaphon. 9 So ha’melek Ha’Negev shall come into his kingdom and shall return into his own land. 10 But his sons shall be stirred up and shall assemble a multitude of great forces: and one shall certainly come, and overflow, and pass through: then shall he return, and be stirred up, even to his fortress. 11 And ha’melek Ha’Negev shall be moved with bitterness, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with ha’melek Ha’Tsaphon: and he shall set forth a great multitude; but the multitude shall be given into his hand. 12 And when he has taken away the multitude, his heart shall be lifted up; and he shall cast down many ten thousands: but he shall not be strengthened by it. 13 For ha’melek Ha’Tsaphon shall return and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former, and shall certainly come after certain years with a great army and with many riches. 14 And in those times there shall many stand up against ha’melek Ha’Negev: also the sons of the violent of your people shall exalt themselves to establish the vision; but they shall fall. 15 So ha’melek Ha’Tsaphon shall come, and cast up a mount, and take the most fenced cities: and the arms of the Negev shall not withstand, neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to withstand. 16 But he that comes against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed. 17 He shall also set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; thus shall he do: and he shall give him the daughter of women, corrupting her: but she shall not stand on his side, neither be for him. 18 After this shall he turn his face unto the isles and shall take many: but a prince for his own behalf shall cause the reproach offered by him to cease; without his own reproach he shall cause it to turn upon him. 19 Then he shall turn his face toward the fort of his own land: but he shall stumble and fall, and not be found. 20 Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle. 21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honor of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably and obtain the kingdom by flatteries. 22 And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant. 23 And after the league made with him, he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up and shall become strong with a small people. 24 He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strongholds, even for a time. 25 And he shall stir up his power and his courage against ha’melek Ha’Negev with a great army; and ha’melek Ha’Negev shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him. 26 Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain. 27 And both these kings' hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed. 28 Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits and return to his own land. 29 At the time appointed he shall return and come toward the Negev; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter.
30 For the ships of Kittiym shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant. 31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily lifting up, and they shall place the abomination of desolation. 32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their Elohiym shall be strong and do exploits. 33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. 34 Now when they shall fall, they shall be helped with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries. 35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed. 36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every el, and shall speak marvelous things against the El of elohiym and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. 37 Neither shall he regard the elohai of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any eloah: for he shall magnify himself above all. 38 But in his estate shall he honor an eloah of forces: and an eloah whom his fathers knew not shall he honor with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things. 39 Thus shall he do in the most strongholds with a strange eloah, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many and shall divide the land for gain. 40 And at the time of the end shall ha’melek Ha’Negev push with him: and ha’melek Ha’Tsaphon shall come over him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries and shall overflow and pass over. 41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Mo’av, and the chief of the children of Ammon. 42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Mitsrayim shall not escape. 43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Mitsrayim: and the Libyans and the Kushiym shall be at his steps. 44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many. 45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

Chapter 12

And at that time shall Miyka’el stand up, the great prince which stands for the children of your people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone that shall be found written in the cepher. 2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. 3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the expanse; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever. 4 But you, O Daniy’el, shut up the words, and seal the cepher, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and the knowledge shall be increased.
5 Then I Daniy’el looked, and behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river. 6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river: How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? 7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven and swore seven oaths by him that lives forever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. 8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O Adonai, what shall be the end of these things? 9 And he said: Go your way, Daniy’el: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. 11 And from the time of the removal of the daily lifting up, and the giving of the abomination of desolation, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12 Blessed is he that waits and comes to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. 13 But go you your way till the end: for you shall rest and stand in your lot at the end of the days.

Chanoch (Enoch) 105

After a time, my son Methushelach took a woman for his son Lemek.
View

After a time, my son Methushelach took a woman for his son Lemek. 2 She became pregnant by him, and brought forth a child, the flesh of which was as white as snow, and red as a rose; the hair of whose head was white like wool, and long; and whose eyes were beautiful. When he opened them, he illuminated all the house, like the sun; the whole house abounded with light. 3 And when he was taken from the hand of the midwife, Lemek his father became afraid of him; and flying away came to his own father Methushelach, and said, I have begotten a son, unlike others. He is not of men; but, resembling the offspring of the angels of heaven, is of a different nature, being altogether unlike to us. 4 His eyes are as the rays of the sun; his countenance glorious, and he looks not as if he belonged to me, but to the angels. 5 I am afraid, lest something miraculous should take place on earth in his days. 6 And now, my father, let me entreat and request you to go to our progenitor Chanoch, and learn from him the Truth; for his residence is with the angels.
7 When Methushelach heard the words of his son, he came to me at the extremities of the earth; for he had been informed that I was there: and he cried out. 8 I heard his voice, and went to him saying: Behold, I am here, my son, since you have come to me. 9 He answered and said: On account of a great event have I come to you; and on account of a sight difficult have I approached you. 10 And now, my father, hear me; for to my son Lemek a child has been born, who resembles not him; and whose nature is not like the nature of man. His color is whiter than snow; he is redder than the rose; the hair of his head is whiter than white wool; his eyes are like the rays of the sun; and when he opened them he illuminated the whole house. 11 When also he was taken from the hand of the midwife, 12 His father Lemek feared, and fled to me, believing not what belonged to him, but that he resembled the angels of heaven. And behold I am come to you, that you might point out to me the Truth. 13 Then I, Chanoch, answered and said, Yahuah will effect a new thing upon the earth. This have I explained and seen in a vision. I have shown you that in the generations of Yered my father, those who were from heaven disregarded the Word of Yahuah. Behold they committed crimes; laid aside their class and intermingled with women. With them also they transgressed; married with them, and begat children, who are not like spiritual beings, but creatures of flesh.
14 A great destruction therefore shall come upon all the earth; a deluge, a great destruction shall take place in one year. 15 This child, who is born to your son shall survive on the earth, and his three sons shall be saved with him. When all mankind who are on the earth shall die, he shall be safe. 16 And his posterity shall beget on the earth giants, not spiritual, but carnal. Upon the earth shall a great punishment be inflicted, and it shall be washed from all corruption. Now therefore inform your son Lemek that he who is born is his child in truth; and he shall call his name Noach, for he shall be to you a survivor. He and his children shall be saved from the corruption which shall take place in the world; from all the sin and from all the iniquity which shall be consummated on earth in his days. Afterwards shall greater impiety take place than that which had been before consummated on the earth; for I am acquainted with holy mysteries, which Yahuah himself has discovered and explained to me; and which I have read in the tablets of heaven. 17 In them I saw it written that generation after generation shall transgress, until a righteous race shall arise; until transgression and crime perish from off the earth; until all goodness come upon it. 18 And now, my son, go tell your son Lemek, 19 That the child, who is born is his child in truth; and that there is no deception. 20 When Methushelach heard the word of his father Chanoch, who had shown him every secret thing, he returned with understanding, and called the name of that child Noach, because he was to console the earth on account of all its destruction.
21 Another cepher, which Chanoch wrote for his son Methushelach, and for those who should come after him, and guard their purity of conduct in the latter days. You, who have labored, shall wait in those days, until the evil doers be consumed, and the power of the guilty be annihilated. Wait, until sin pass away; for their names shall be blotted out of the holy cepheriym; their seed shall be destroyed, and their ruachoth slain. They shall cry out and lament in the invisible waste, and in the bottomless fire shall they burn. There I perceived, as it were, a cloud which could not be seen through; for from the depth of it I was unable to look upwards. I beheld also a flame of fire blazing brightly, and, as it were, glittering mountains whirled around, and agitated from side to side.
22 Then I inquired of one of the holy angels who was with me, and said: What is splendid? For it is not heaven, but a flame of fire alone which blazes, and the clamor of exclamation, of woe, and of great suffering. 23 He said: There, into that place which you behold, shall be thrust the ruachoth of sinners and blasphemers; of those who shall do evil, and who shall pervert all which Elohiym has spoken by the mouth of the prophets; all which they ought to do. For respecting these things there shall be writings and impressions above in heaven, that the angels may read them and know what shall happen both to sinners and to the ruachoth of the humble; to those who have suffered in their bodies, but have been rewarded by Elohiym; who have been injuriously treated by wicked men; who have loved Elohiym; who have been attached neither to gold nor silver, nor to any good thing in the world, but have given their bodies to torment; 24 To those who from the period of their birth have not been covetous of earthly riches; but have regarded themselves as a breath passing away. 25 Such has been their conduct; and much has Yahuah tried them; and their ruachoth have been found pure, that they might bless his name. All their blessings have I related in a cepher; and he has rewarded them; for they have been found to love heaven with an everlasting aspiration. While they have been trodden down by wicked men, they have heard from them revilings and blasphemies; and have been ignominiously treated, while they were blessing me. And now will I call the ruachoth of the good from the generation of light and will change those who have been born in darkness, who have not in their bodies been recompensed with glory, as their faith may have merited. 26 I will bring them into the splendid light of those who love my holy name: and I will place each of them on a throne of glory, of glory his own, and they shall beat rest during unnumbered periods. Righteous is the judgment of Elohiym; 27 For to the faithful shall he give faith in the habitations of uprightness. They shall see those, who have been born in darkness unto darkness shall be cast, while the righteous shall be at rest. Sinners shall cry out, beholding them, while they exist in splendor and proceed forwards to the days and periods prescribed to them.

Blow ye the shofar in Tsiyon, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of Yahuah comes, for it is nigh at hand; 2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there has not been ever the like, neither shall be anymore after it, even to the years of many generations. 3 A fire devours before them; and behind them a flame burns: the land is as the Garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them. 4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run. 5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devours the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array. 6 Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness. 7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march everyone on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks: 8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk everyone in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. 9 They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall; they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief. 10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining: 11 And Yahuah shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executes his word: for the day of Yahuah is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
12 Therefore also now, says Yahuah, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: 13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto El-Yahuah Elohaykem: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repents of the evil. 14 Who knows if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even an oblation and a drink offering unto Yahuah Elohaykem?
15 Blow the shofar in Tsiyon, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: 16 Gather the people, sanctify the assembly, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. 17 Let the priests, the ministers of Yahuah, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say: Spare your people, O Yahuah, and give not your heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people: Where is their Elohiym?
18 Then will Yahuah be jealous for his land and pity his people. 19 Yea, Yahuah will answer and say unto his people: Behold, I will send you grain, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen: 20 But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savor shall come up, because he has done great things.
21 Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for Yahuah will do great things. 22 Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree bears her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength. 23 And children of Tsiyon, rejoice and be glad in Yahuah Elohaykem, because he gives to us the righteous teaching which descends on us like a teaching rain and a latter rain in the first of the year. 24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil. 25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. 26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of Yahuah Elohaykem, that has dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. 27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Yashar’el, and that I am Yahuah Elohaykem, and no one else: and my people shall never be ashamed.
28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Ruach upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my Ruach. 30 And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. 31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of Yahuah come. 32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of Yahuah shall be delivered: for in Mount Tsiyon and in Yerushalayim shall be deliverance, as Yahuah has said, and in the remnant whom Yahuah shall call.
