My Yoke Is Easy

A critical passage in the besorah of Mattithyahu keeps rising in my spirit as the Father breathes new life into this bit of wisdom in the governance of our affairs in these last hours of the age of man.  Let’s begin with the preamble:

Mattithyahu (Matthew) 11:27
All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knows the Son, but the Father; neither knows any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

All things are delivered unto Mashiach from the Father.  Where else do we see that?

Yahuchanon (John) 1:3
All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.

We see here that all things are in the hands of Mashiach in the physical world.  That subject is for another time.  But let us consider the Father for just a moment.

Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 63:15-16
Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of your holiness (qodesh) and of your glory (tipherah): where is your zeal (qinah) and your strength (gevurah), the sounding of your bowels and of thy mercies (rahkham) toward me? Are they restrained?

16 Doubtless you are our father (avinu), though Abraham be ignorant (lo yada) of us, and Yisra’el acknowledge us not: you, YAHUAH are our father (avinu), our redeemer (ga’al); your name (shem) is from everlasting (olam).

The discussion in Yeshayahu about the Father is interesting, because he sets forth some of the radiances of YAH in this discussion; namely the tipherah, the gevurah, and the chesed (rahkham).

Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 64:8
But now, O YAHUAH, you are our father; we are the clay, and you our potter; and we all are the work of your hand.

Now consider again the phrase that no man knows the Son, but the Father; neither knows any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. This term know in the Hebrew is yada, but have knowledge is da’ath, another radiance of ELOHIYM.  Da’ath (knowledge), binah (understanding) and chokmah (wisdom) are the three radiances of the Rosh, which is the Godhead we call ELOHIYM, which is YAH in his plurality, and these are unreachable except through Mashiach.

From this knowledge we might ask ourselves the question: how much will be required of us to know the Father – to obtain the knowledge, the understanding and the wisdom of the Father? Fortunately we are given the answer in these next verses in Mattithyahu:

Mattithyahu (Matthew) 11:28-30
Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

This was a verse I learned in Russian and which I could recite from memory.  When I arrived in Tbilisi, Georgia in 2004, I found this verse tacked on the dining room wall:

Придите ко Мне все труждающиеся и обремененные, и Я успокою вас; возьмите иго Мое на себя и научитесь от Меня, ибо Я кроток и смирен сердцем, и найдете покой душам вашим; ибо иго Мое благо, и бремя Мое легко.

This was a verse I needed to deliver to Pastor Zaali Tkeshilishvili, and to deliver in Russian – but I did not, for I did not fully understand the implications.

So now I am finding a way to rejoice in the coming tribulation, for the yoke of Mashiach is indeed easy, and His burden is indeed light.

The myth of Romulus and Remus and the ties to ancient scripture

A recent review of the myth concerning Romulus and Remus evidenced a factual pattern that appeared to me to be a bit conspicuous and repetitive. As a “pattern recognition specialist” (thanks Ashton Lawson), I took a closer look. According to Brittany Garcia, in her post of 18 April 20... Read More

May 18 Ivriym (Hebrews) 4:8-12 For inasmuch as on this day Yahusha rested; he would not have spoken afterward of a different day. 9 There remains therefore a Shabbath for the people of Elohiym. 10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also has ceased from his own works, as Elohiym did from his. 11 Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. 12 For the Word of Elohiym is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and ruach, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
