When we discuss the origins of the tribes of Yashar’el, we can look to three scriptural references that discuss the nature of the Patriarchs: the history of the giving of their names; the blessing of Ya’aqov on his sons; and the blessings of Mosheh on the tribes. Let’s begin:
Mattithyahu (Matthew) 7:15-20
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that brings not forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Can we make this determination where the tribes of the house of Yashar’el are concerned?

As we consider the nature of the tribes, first we see the impact of the names, and, among them, the foreshadowing of the coming Mashiach in the life and the name of Yoceph. Let us now consider the blessings of Ya’aqov, only now, we must also consider the blessing on Ephrayim and Menashsheh:

Finally, let’s take a look at the blessing of Mosheh on the twelve tribes, which appears at Devariym (Deuteronomy) 33:
Devariym (Deuteronomy) 33:1
AND this is the blessing, wherewith Mosheh the man of ELOHIYM blessed את eth-the children of Yashar’el before his death.
