25 Teshi'iy (Kislev) - 1 Asiriy (Tevet)

PARASHAT: Bereshiyth 37:1 - 40:23

AND Ya`aqov dwelt in the land wherein his father was a stranger, in the land of Kena`an. 2 These are the generations of Ya`aqov. Yoceph, being seventeen years old, was feeding את eth-the flock with his brethren; and the lad was with את eth-the sons of Bilhah, and with את eth-the sons of Zilpah, his father's women: and Yoceph brought את eth-unto his father their evil report. 3 Now Yisra’el loved את eth-Yoceph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours. 4 And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him.

5 And Yoceph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more. 6 And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed: 7 For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf. 8 And his brethren said to him, Shall you indeed reign over us? or shall you indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words.

9 And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me. 10 And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall I and your mother and your brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to you to the earth? 11 And his brethren envied him; but his father observed את eth-the saying.

12 And his brethren went to feed את eth-their father's flock in Shekem. 13 And Yisra’el said unto El-Yoceph, Do not your brethren feed the flock in Shekem? come, and I will send you unto them. And he said to him, Here am I. 14 And he said to him, Go, I pray you, see את eth-whether it be well with your brethren, and את eth-well with the flocks; and bring me word again. So he sent him out of the valley of Chevron, and he came to Shekem.

15 And a certain man found him, and, behold, he was wandering in the field: and the man asked him, saying, What do you seek? 16 And he said, I seek את eth-my brethren: tell me, I pray you, where they feed their flocks. 17 And the man said, They are departed hence; for I heard them say, Let us go to Dothan. And Yoceph went after his brethren, and found them in Dothan. 18 And when they saw him afar off, even before he came near unto them, they conspired against him to slay him. 19 And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer comes. 20 Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast has devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams. 21 And Re’uven heard it, and he delivered him out of their hands; and said, Let us not kill him. 22 And Re’uven said unto them, Shed no blood, but cast him into this pit that is in the wilderness, and lay no hand upon him; that he might rid him out of their hands, to deliver him to his father again.

23 And it came to pass, when Yoceph was come unto his brethren, that they stripped את eth-Yoceph out of את eth-his coat, his את eth-coat of many colours that was on him; 24 And they took him, and cast him into a pit: and the pit was empty, there was no water in it. 25 And they sat down to eat bread: and they lifted up their eyes and looked, and, behold, a company of Yishma`e’liym[i] came from Gil`ad with their camels bearing spicery and balm and myrrh, going to carry it down to Mitsrayim. 26 And Yahudah said unto his brethren, What profit is it if we slay את eth-our brother, and conceal את eth-his blood? 27 Come, and let us sell him to the Yishma`e’liym, and let not our hand be upon him; for he is our brother and our flesh. And his brethren were content. 28 Then there passed by Midyaniym merchantmen; and they drew and lifted up את eth-Yoceph out of the pit, and sold את eth-Yoceph to the Yishma`e’liym for twenty pieces of silver: and they brought את eth-Yoceph into Mitsrayim.

29 And Re’uven returned unto the pit; and, behold, Yoceph was not in the pit; and he rent את eth-his clothes. 30 And he returned unto his brethren, and said, The child is not; and I, whither shall I go? 31 And they took Yoceph’s את eth-coat, and killed a kid of the goats, and dipped את eth-the coat in the blood; 32 And they sent the את eth-coat of many colours, and they brought it to their father; and said, This have we found: know now whether it be your son's coat or no. 33 And he knew it, and said, It is my son's coat; an evil beast has devoured him; Yoceph is without doubt rent in pieces. 34 And Ya`aqov rent his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his loins, and mourned for his son many days. 35 And all his sons and all his daughters rose up to comfort him; but he refused to be comforted; and he said, For I will go down into She’ol[ii] unto my son mourning. Thus his father wept for him. 36 And the Midyaniym sold him into Mitsrayim unto Potiyphar,[iii] an officer of Phar`oh’s, and captain of the guard.

AND it came to pass at that time, that Yahudah went down from his brethren, and turned in to a certain Adullamiy,[iv] whose name was Chiyrah.[v] 2 And Yahudah saw there a daughter of a certain Kena`aniy, whose name was Shuach; and he took her, and went in unto her. 3 And she conceived, and bore a son; and he called את eth-his name Er. 4 And she conceived again, and bore a son; and she called את eth-his name Onan. 5 And she yet again conceived, and bore a son; and called את eth-his name Shelach: and he was at Keziyv,[vi] when she bore him. 6 And Yahudah took a woman for Er his firstborn, whose name was Tamar. 7 And Er, Yahudah’s firstborn, was wicked in the sight of YAHUAH; and YAHUAH slew him. 8 And Yahudah said unto Onan, Go in unto your brother's woman, and marry her, and raise up seed to your brother. 9 And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother's woman, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother. 10 And the thing which he did displeased YAHUAH: wherefore he slew him also. 11 Then said Yahudah to Tamar his daughter in law, Remain a widow at your father's house, till Shelach my son be grown: for he said, Lest peradventure he die also, as his brethren did. And Tamar went and dwelt in her father's house.

12 And in process of time the daughter of Shuach Yahudah’s woman died; and Yahudah was comforted, and went up unto his sheepshearers to Timnathah,[vii] he and his friend Chiyrah the Adullamiy. 13 And it was told Tamar, saying, Behold your father in law goes up to Timna to shear his sheep. 14 And she put her widow's garments off from her, and covered her with a vail, and wrapped herself, and sat in an open place, which is by the way to Timna; for she saw that Shelach was grown, and she was not given unto him to be his woman. 15 When Yahudah saw her, he thought her to be a harlot; because she had covered her face. 16 And he turned unto her by the way, and said, Go to, I pray you, let me come in unto you; (for he knew not that she was his daughter in law.) And she said, What will you give me, that you may come in unto me? 17 And he said, I will send you a kid from the flock. And she said, Will you give me a pledge, till you send it? 18 And he said, What pledge shall I give you? And she said, Your signet, and your bracelets, and your staff that is in your hand. And he gave it her, and came in unto her, and she conceived by him. 19 And she arose, and went away, and laid by her vail from her, and put on the garments of her widowhood. 20 And Yahudah sent את eth-the kid by the hand of his friend the Adullamiy, to receive his pledge from the woman's hand: but he found her not. 21 Then he asked את eth-the men of that place, saying, Where is the harlot, that was openly by the way side? And they said, There was no harlot in this place. 22 And he returned to El-Yahudah, and said, I cannot find her; and also the men of the place said, that there was no harlot in this place. 23 And Yahudah said, Let her take it to her, lest we be shamed: behold, I sent this kid, and you have not found her.

24 And it came to pass about three months after, that it was told Yahudah, saying, Tamar your daughter in law has played the harlot; and also, behold, she is with child by whoredom. And Yahudah said, Bring her forth, and let her be burnt. 25 When she was brought forth, she sent to her father in law, saying, By the man, whose these are, am I with child: and she said, Discern, I pray you, whose are these, the signet, and bracelets, and staff. 26 And Yahudah acknowledged them, and said, She has been more righteous than I; because that I gave her not to Shelach my son. And he knew her again no more.

27 And it came to pass in the time of her travail, that, behold, twins were in her womb. 28 And it came to pass, when she travailed, that the one put out his hand: and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, saying, This came out first. 29 And it came to pass, as he drew back his hand, that, behold, his brother came out: and she said, How have you broken forth? this breach be upon you: therefore his name was called Perets.[viii] 30 And afterward came out his brother, that had the scarlet thread upon his hand: and his name was called Zerach.[ix]

AND Yoceph was brought down to Mitsrayim; and Potiyphar, an officer of Phar`oh, captain of the guard, a Mitsriy, bought him of the hands of the Yishma`e’liym, which had brought him down thither. 2 And YAHUAH was with את eth-Yoceph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Mitsriy. 3 And his master saw that YAHUAH was with him, and that YAHUAH made all that he did to prosper in his hand. 4 And Yoceph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand. 5 And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that YAHUAH blessed את eth-the Mitsriy's house for Yoceph’s sake; and the blessing of YAHUAH was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field. 6 And he left all that he had in Yoceph’s hand; and he knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Yoceph was a goodly person, and well favoured.

7 And it came to pass after these things, that his master's woman cast את eth-her eyes upon El-Yoceph; and she said, Lie with me. 8 But he refused, and said unto his master's woman, Behold, my master knows not what is with me in the house, and he has committed all that he has to my hand; 9 There is none greater in this house than I; neither has he kept back anything from me but you, because you are את eth-his woman: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against ELOHIYM? 10 And it came to pass, as she spoke to El-Yoceph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her. 11 And it came to pass about this time, that Yoceph went into the house to do his business; and there was none of the men of the house there within. 12 And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out. 13 And it came to pass, when she saw that he had left his garment in her hand, and was fled forth, 14 That she called unto the men of her house, and spoke unto them, saying, See, he has brought in an Ivriy unto us to mock us; he came in unto me to lie with me, and I cried with a loud voice: 15 And it came to pass, when he heard that I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled, and got him out. 16 And she laid up his garment by her, until his lord came home. 17 And she spoke unto him according to these words, saying, The Ivriy servant, which you have brought unto us, came in unto me to mock me: 18 And it came to pass, as I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled out. 19 And it came to pass, when his master heard את eth-the words of his woman, which she spoke unto him, saying, After this manner did your servant to me; that his wrath was kindled. 20 And Yoceph’s master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison.

21 But YAHUAH was with את eth-Yoceph, and showed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison. 22 And the keeper of the prison committed to Yoceph’s hand את eth all the prisoners that were in the prison; and את eth-whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it. 23 The keeper of the prison looked את eth-not to anything that was under his hand; because YAHUAH was with him, and that which he did, YAHUAH made it to prosper.

AND it came to pass after these things, that the butler of the king of Mitsrayim and his baker had offended their lord the king of Mitsrayim. 2 And Phar`oh was wroth against two of his officers, against the chief of the butlers, and against the chief of the bakers. 3 And he put them in ward in the house of the captain of the guard, into the prison, the place where Yoceph was bound. 4 And the captain of the guard charged את eth-Yoceph with them, and he served them: and they continued a season in ward.

5  And they dreamed a dream both of them, each man his dream in one night, each man according to the interpretation of his dream, the butler and the baker of the king of Mitsrayim, which were bound in the prison. 6 And Yoceph came in unto them in the morning, and looked upon them, and, behold, they were sad. 7 And he asked את eth-Phar`oh’s officers that were with him in the ward of his lord's house, saying, Wherefore look ye so sadly today? 8 And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter of it. And Yoceph said unto them, Do not interpretations belong to ELOHIYM? tell me them, I pray you. 9 And the chief butler told את eth-his dream to Yoceph, and said to him, In my dream, behold, a vine was before me; 10 And in the vine were three branches: and it was as though it budded, and her blossoms shot forth; and the clusters thereof brought forth ripe grapes: 11 And Phar`oh’s cup was in my hand: and I took את eth-the grapes, and pressed them into Phar`oh’s cup, and I gave את eth-the cup into Phar`oh’s hand. 12 And Yoceph said unto him, This is the interpretation of it: The three branches are three days: 13 Yet within three days shall Phar`oh lift up את eth-your head, and restore you unto your place: and you shall deliver Phar`oh’s cup into his hand, after the former manner when you were his butler. 14 But think on me when it shall be well with you, and show kindness, I pray you, unto me, and make mention of me unto Phar`oh, and bring me out of this house: 15 For indeed I was stolen away out of the land of the Ivriym: and here also have I done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon. 16 When the chief baker saw that the interpretation was good, he said unto El-Yoceph, I also was in my dream, and, behold, I had three white baskets on my head: 17 And in the uppermost basket there was of all manner of baked meats for Phar`oh; and the birds did eat them out of the basket upon my head. 18 And Yoceph answered and said, This is the interpretation thereof: The three baskets are three days: 19 Yet within three days shall Phar`oh lift up את eth-your head from off you, and shall hang you on a tree; and the birds shall eat את eth-your flesh from off you.

20 And it came to pass the third day, which was את eth-Phar`oh’s birthday, that he made a feast unto all his servants: and he lifted up את eth-the head of the chief butler and את eth-of the chief baker among his servants. 21 And he restored את eth-the chief butler unto his butlership again; and he gave the cup into Phar`oh’s hand: 22 But he hanged את eth-the chief baker: as Yoceph had interpreted to them. 23 Yet did not the chief butler remember את eth-Yoceph, but forgot him.

HAFTARAH: Amoc 2:6 - 3:8

Thus says YAHUAH; For three transgressions of Yisra’el, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes; 7 That pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father will go in unto the same maid, to profane את eth-my holy name: 8 And they lay themselves down upon clothes laid to pledge by every altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their elohiym.

9 Yet destroyed I את eth-the Emoriy before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath. 10 Also I brought you up from the land of Mitsrayim, and led you forty years through the wilderness, to possess את eth-the land of the Emoriy. 11 And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Naziyriym.[x] Is it not even thus, O ye children of Yisra’el? says YAHUAH. 12 But ye gave את eth-the Naziyriym wine to drink; and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not. 13 Behold, I am pressed under you, as a cart is pressed that is full of sheaves. 14 Therefore the flight shall perish from the swift, and the strong shall not strengthen his force, neither shall the mighty deliver himself: 15 Neither shall he stand that handles the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not deliver himself: neither shall he that rides the horse deliver himself. 16 And he that is courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, says YAHUAH.

HEAR את eth-this word that YAHUAH has spoken against you, O children of  Yisra’el,  against  the  whole  family  which  I brought up from the land of Mitsrayim, saying, 2 You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for את eth all your iniquities. 3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed? 4 Will a lion roar in the forest, when he has no prey? will a young lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing? 5 Can a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where no gin is for him? shall one take up a snare from the earth, and have taken nothing at all? 6 Shall a shofar be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and YAHUAH has not done it? 7 Surely ADONAI YAHUAH will do nothing, but he reveals his secret unto his servants the prophets. 8 The lion has roared, who will not fear? ADONAI YAHUAH has spoken, who can but prophesy?

BESORAH: Yahuchanon 2:13 - 4:42

AND YAHUAH’S Pecach, which the Yahudiym observed, was at hand, and YAHUSHA went up to Yerushalayim, 14 And found in the Temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: 15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the Temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; 16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house a house of merchandise. 17 And his Talmidiym remembered that it was written, The zeal of your house has eaten me up.

18 Then answered the Yahudiym and said unto him, What sign show you unto us, seeing that you do these things? 19 YAHUSHA answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. 20 Then said the Yahudiym, Forty and six years was this Temple in building, and will you rear it up in three days? 21 But he spoke of the temple of his body. 22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his Talmidiym remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the Scripture, and the word which YAHUSHA had said.

23 Now when he was in Yerushalayim at the Pecach, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did. 24 But YAHUSHA did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men, 25 And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.

THERE was a man of the Parashiym, named Niqodiymon,[xi] a ruler of the Yahudiym: 2 The same came to YAHUSHA by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from ELOHIYM: for no man can do these miracles that you do, except ELOHIYM be with him. 3 YAHUSHA answered and said unto him, Amein, Amein, I say unto you, Except a man be born from the beginning, he cannot see את eth-the Kingdom of YAHUAH. 4 Niqodiymon said unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5 YAHUSHA answered, Amein, I say unto you, Except a man be born of water and of the RUACH, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of YAHUAH. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the RUACH is ruach. 7 Marvel not that I said unto you, Ye must be born from the beginning. 8 The wind blows where it wills, and you hear the sound thereof, but cannot tell whence it comes, and whither it goes: so is everyone that is born of the RUACH. 9 Niqodiymon answered and said unto him, How can these things be? 10 YAHUSHA answered and said unto him, Are you a master of Yisra’el, and know not these things? 11 Amein, Amein, I say unto you, We speak את eth that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. 12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? 13 And no man has ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of Adam which is in heaven.

14 And as Mosheh lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Adam be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

16 For YAH so loved the world, that he gave his את eth-yachiyd, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For YAH sent not his את eth-yachiyd into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18 He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the yachiyd of YAHUAH. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that does truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in YAHUAH. 22 After these things came YAHUSHA and his Talmidiym into the land of Yahudah; and there he tarried with them, and immersed.

23 And Yahuchanon also was immersing in Ayin[xii] near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were immersed. 24 For Yahuchanon was not yet cast into prison.

25 Then there arose a question between some of Yahuchanon's Talmidiym and the Yahudiym about purifying. 26 And they came unto Yahuchanon, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with you beyond Yarden, to whom you bore witness, behold, the same immerses, and all men come to him. 27 Yahuchanon answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. 28 Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not HAMASHIACH, but that I am sent before him. 29 He that has the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled. 30 He must increase, but I must decrease. 31 He that comes from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaks of the earth: he that comes from heaven is above all. 32 And what he has seen and heard, that he testifies; and no man receives his testimony. 33 He that has received his testimony has set to his seal that YAHUAH is true. 34 For he whom YAHUAH has sent speaks the words of YAHUAH: for YAHUAH gives not the RUACH by measure unto him. 35 The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into his hand. 36 He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of YAHUAH abides on him.

WHEN therefore YAHUSHA knew how the Parashiym had heard that YAHUSHA made and immersed more Talmidiym than Yahuchanon, 2 (Though YAHUSHA himself immersed not, but his Talmidiym,) 3 He left Yahudah, and departed again into Galiyl. 4 And he must needs go through Shomeron. 5 Then came he to a city of Shomeron, which is called Shekar,[xiii] near to the parcel of ground that Ya`aqov gave to his son Yoceph. 6 Now Ya`aqov's well was there. YAHUSHA therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour. 7 There came a woman of Shomeron to draw water: YAHUSHA said unto her, Give me to drink. 8 (For his Talmidiym were gone away unto the city to buy meat.) 9 Then said the woman of Shomeron unto him, How is it that you, being a Yahudiy, ask drink of me, which am a woman of Shomeron? for the Yahudiym have no dealings with the Shomeroniym. 10 YAHUSHA answered and said unto her, If you knew the gift of YAH, and who it is that says to you, Give me to drink; you would have asked of him, and he would have given you living water. 11 The woman said unto him, Sir, you have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then have you that living water? 12 Are you greater than our father Ya`aqov, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? 13 YAHUSHA answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinks of this water shall thirst again: 14 But whosoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. 15 The woman said unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw. 16 YAHUSHA said unto her, Go, call your man, and come hither. 17 The woman answered and said, I have no man. YAHUSHA said unto her, You have well said, I have no man: 18 For you have had five men; and he whom you now have is not your man: in that said you truly. 19 The woman said unto him, Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet. 20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Yerushalayim is the place where men ought to worship. 21 YAHUSHA said unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour comes, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Yerushalayim, worship the Father. 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for yeshu`ah[xiv] is of the Yahudiym. 23 But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in ruach and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship him. 24 YAHUAH is that RUACH: and they that worship him must worship him in ruach and in truth. 25 The woman said unto him, I know that MASHIACH comes, which is called Messiah: when he is come, he will tell us all things. 26 YAHUSHA said unto her, I that speak unto you am he.

27 And upon this came his Talmidiym, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What do you seek? or, Why do you talk with her? 28 The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and said to the men, 29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this HAMASHIACH? 30 Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.

31 In the mean while his Talmidiym prayed him, saying, Master, eat. 32 But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of. 33 Therefore said the Talmidiym one to another, Has any man brought him ought to eat? 34 YAHUSHA said unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. 35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then comes harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. 36 And he that reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit unto life eternal: that both he that sows and he that reaps may rejoice together. 37 And herein is that saying true, One sows, and another reaps. 38 I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.

39 And many of the Shomeroniym of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did. 40 So when the Shomeroniym were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days. 41 And many more believed because of his own word; 42 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of your saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed HAMASHIACH, the Saviour of the world.
