    In regard to Zechariah 14:12:

Why "eyes-their" and "tongue-their" instead of the literal translation "eyes-his" and "tongue-his"
Put forth in the literal translation, it becomes akin to Amos 8:11-12. Thank you in advance for your response.

    Jennifer, thanks for your post.

We have not looked into this section of the scripture in depth.

The 1535 Coverdale Bible, the 1560 Geneva Bible, and the 1611 Authorized Version agree with our reading.

I am in a position to shed light on this word. Actually it solves many riddles...as to why the seemingly contradiction between eternity and time. Many think this is the effect of nuclear war, not saying that might not happen, but it would be the lesser of two evils. We have a tendency to always look at things from our perspective, as in the case of Nahab and Abihu, We see fire come down from God. What if it were "their" souls that was the fire, A lightning bolt travels at 60% (educated guess) the speed of light. Einstien theorized when the speed of light is reached, time stops. When time stops, eternity begins, So I say this is a case of eternal death, being cast into outer darkness, A lightning bolt by nature would leave the top of the body, moving skyward, Scientists have recently detected miniature black holes at the "end" of natural lightning bolts. I say when the soul is transformed into living fire, read terror increased by the power of God, it will be torn from time and space and never be any more, in the twinkling of an eye. Ezekiel 28: 18&19

The opposite is true for the rapture, our love for God is increased by His power and we become one. It is the case of the old wineskin not being able to hold the new wine, we have to repent and get grounded in God, fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. He who has no fear of God will become living terror dieing an eternal holy death. A literal hole, aborted from the universe. Holy hell, lake of fire.

I hope this might stimulate some discussion.
