Blessed is he who comes in the name of Yahuah (with video).

As we reach this hour in the ministry of Cepher Publishing Group, we come to a point when we now suffer great criticism and alienation as a result of our setting forth the truth about the name.

Let us begin with this passage:

Luqas (Luke) 13:35
Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: Amein I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that comes in the name of Yahuah.

Tehilliym (Psalm) 118:26
Blessed be he that comes in the name of Yahuah: we have blessed you out of the house of Yahuah.

There can be little doubt that Mashiach is quoting the Psalm of David here, as they are word for word.

So the first question is: Is the tetragrammaton found in this Psalm?

Ps 118:26 בָּרוּךְ הַבָּא בְּשֵׁם יְהוָֹה בֵּרַכְנוּכֶם מִבֵּית יְהוָֹה׃

The Ivriyt reads Baruch ha’bah b’shem Yahuah, baruch’nu’coth m’beyt Yahuah.

Yet in the Greek we find the translated word in the passage which quotes this Psalm to be Kyrios

ευλογημενος ο ερχομενος εν ονοματι κυριου

This is not inconsistent with the treatment of the word by the Septuagint translators, who routinely replaced the Tetragrammaton with the word Kyrios.

Yet we are being cursed by those who cling to the substitution “Lord” in the English translations, most notably, to the revised Anglican scriptures which carry the authority of the British Crown properly referred as the Benjamin Blaney edition of the King James Version of the Bible.  Since the word Lord is a title and not a name, is it possible by use of the scripture found in the BB-KJV to distinguish which Lord is being discussed?  Here is a list of modern possibilities:

A current roster of Lords from the House of Lords, (also under the authority of the Crown):

Which one of these do you eliminate in your prayers with the reference to Lord?

Let us continue in our discussion.

Ya`aqov (James) 5:10;14
10 Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of Yahuah [kyrios], for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.
14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the called-out assembly; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of Yahuah [kyrios]:

Ya`aqov tells us directly that the prophets spoke in the name of Yahuah.  Further he tells us that anointing in oil is to be done in the name of Yahuah.

Chizayon (Revelation) 14:1
AND I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on Mount Tsiyon, and with him a hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.

What would you expect that name to be?

Should we concern ourselves with such a question?

The Greek Error found in Vayiqra (Leviticus) 24:16
And he that names the name of the Lord, let him die the death: let all the congregation of Israel stone him with stones; whether he be a stranger or a native, let him die for naming the name of the Lord.

Septuagint Leviticus 24:16
ὀνομάζων δὲ τὸ ὄνομα Κυρίου, θανάτῳ θανατούσθω· λίθοις λιθοβολείτω αὐτὸν πᾶσα ἡ συναγωγὴ ᾿Ισραήλ· ἐάν τε προσήλυτος, ἐάν τε αὐτόχθων, ἐν τῷ ὀνομάσαι αὐτὸν τὸ ὄνομα Κυρίου, τελευτάτω.

Compare with the Ivriyt Record

Vayiqra (Leviticus) 24:16
And he that blasphemes the name of Yahuah, he shall surely be put to death, and all the assembly shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemes the name of Yahuah, shall be put to death.

ונקב שׁם־יהוה מות יומת רגום ירגמו־בו כל־העדה כגר כאזרח בנקבו־שׁם יומת׃

The word interpreted to mean blaspheme is (נקב) naqab – (Strong’s 5344): a primitive root; meaning to puncture, literally (to perforate, with more or less violence) or figuratively (to libel): to appoint, to blaspheme, to bore, to curse, to express with holes, to pierce, or to strike through.

NOTE: This is not our definition.  We did not make this up. This is how the Strong’s concordance sets forth the description. See for yourself.

To blaspheme the name is literally to puncture, or to perforate with violence the name, or figuratively to libel or to curse, to express with holes, to pierce, or to strike through the name.

The instruction of the ineffable name doctrine is to merely strike through the name and replace it with Lord; or Ha’Shem; or Adonai; or God, whenever you speak it. You wouldn’t do this with a pen when you read it; just do it with your mouth when you speak it (although apparently it is also approved to do so when you translate or transliterate it).

In the Yoma in the Mishnah (from the Talmud), we find:

One does not pronounce the ineffable name outside (of the temple).  (Yoma 3:8; 4:1,2; 6:1,2; 8:9.)

"The blasphemer" is not culpable unless he exactly pronounces the name.

(Sanhedrin 7:5,  quoted from The Sacred Name (Qadesh La Yahuwah Press, 1995) at 156.)

"He who blasphemes is liable only when he will have fully pronounced the Divine Name. Said R. Joshua ben Qorha, "on every day (of the trial) they examine the witnesses with a substituted name. When sentence was to be given they did not declare him guilty of death with the substituted name, but they put everyone out and ask the most important of the witnesses, saying to him, "Say, what exactly did you hear?" And he says what he heard. And the judges stand on their feet and tear their clothing, and they may not mend them again.(m.Sanhedrin 7:5)"

The Noahide rabbis claim the Talmud to say that anyone who is not a priest and who utters the true sacred name (exactly as it is to be pronounced) is deserving of and should be put to death.

However, as Stephen said:

Ma’asiym (Acts) 7:48-53
Howbeit El Elyon dwells not in temples made with hands; as said the prophet, 49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? says Yahuah: or what is the place of my rest? 50 Has not my hand made את eth-all these things? 51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Ruach Ha’Qodesh: as your fathers did, so do ye. 52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them את eth which showed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers: 53 Who have received את eth-the Torah by the disposition of Elohiym, and have not kept it.

And as Kepha said concerning our status as priests:

Kepha Ri’shon (1 Peter) 2:9
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

And as Pa’al said concerning the temple:

Qorintiym Ri’shon (1 Corinthians) 3:16-17
Know ye not that ye are the Temple of Yahuah, and that the Ruach Yahuah dwells in you? 17 If any man defile the Temple of Yah, him shall Yahuah destroy; for the Temple of Yah is holy, which Temple ye are.

We are priests, and the temple dwells within us (as it does in all believers). When we speak the name, we speak it as priests within the temple.

The game played by the Kasdiym who call themselves the Sanhedrin will  be exposed – and judgment will come on a place that has reinstituted the worship of Ba`al and the animal slaughter.

Shemoth (Exodus) 3:15
And Elohiym said moreover unto El-Mosheh, Thus shall you say unto the children of Yashar’el, Yahuah Elohai of your fathers, the Elohai of Avraham, the Elohai of Yitschaq, and the Elohai of Ya`aqov, has sent me unto you: this is my name forever, and this is my mention unto all generations.

And as for the blasphemy of the name done by piercing, consider:

Zakaryahu (Zechariah) 12:10
And I will pour upon the house of Daviyd, and upon the inhabitants of Yerushalayim, the Ruach Chen V’Tachanuniym: and they shall look upon me את eth whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his yachiyd, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

And again another Scripture says,

Yochanon 19:37
They shall look on him את eth whom they pierced.

The word “Lord” is a substitute for the proper name; it is not a translation or transliteration. But the word “lord” is, however, a proper translation for the Ivriyt word “Ba`al” (Strong’s 1166; 1167).  (It means a master; hence, a husband, or owner; captain, chief man, confederate, horseman, husband, lord, man, married, master, person, or sworn).

The word “Adonai” appears to be a word originating in Ivriyt (אָדֹן). Adonai (Strong's Hebrew Dictionary 136 (אֲדֹנָי) appears 407 times in this form in the Tanakh. We have included it where it appears in the original Ivriyt. The letter meaning of this word is the hand of Yah (yod), the seed (nun) of the head (rosh) of the aleph (aleph); but is construed to mean sovereign, i.e. controller (human or divine):—lord, master, or owner.

We see the overlap between Ba`al and Adonai, yet one is unrighteous, and the other righteous.

Mattithyahu (Matthew) 5:17-18
Think not that I am come to destroy the Torah, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For amein I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one yod or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the Torah, till all be fulfilled.

Yet, the “yod” in YHVH has been completely removed in using the substitution “Lord” or “Adonai.”

There are two words used to identify the Ivriyt words Yahuah and Elohiym, namely Kyrios and Theos respectively.  Let’s look:

Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 2:4
These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that Yahuah Elohiym made the earth and the heavens,

Αὕτη ἡ βίβλος γενέσεως οὐρανοῦ καὶ γῆς, ὅτε ἐγένετο· ᾗ ἡμέρᾳ ἐποίησε Κύριος ὁ Θεὸς τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ τὴν γῆν

For the Hebrew word Yahuah (יְהֹוָה) the Septuagint translators used the Greek word (Κύριος) Kyrios; [but distinguish with the Greek Kyrion (sir) and Kyrie (Adonai);

For the Hebrew word Elohiym (אֱלֹהִים) the Septuagint translators used the word (Θεὸς) Theos.

και πασα γλωσσα εξομολογησηται οτι κυριος ιησους χριστος εις δοξαν θεου πατρος

Philippiym (Philippians) 2:11

Suddenly, the name becomes critically important.

Devariym (Deuteronomy) 32:1-4
GIVE ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth. 2 My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass: 3 Because I will publish the name of Yahuah: ascribe ye greatness unto our Elohiym. 4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: an El of Truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.

Devariym (Deuteronomy) 6:12-13
Then beware lest you forget את eth-Yahuah, which brought you forth out of the land of Mitsrayim, from the house of bondage. 13 You shall fear את eth-Yahuah Elohayka, and serve him, and shall swear by his name.

Devariym (Deuteronomy) 10:8
At that time Yahuah separated את eth-the tribe of Leviy, to bear את eth-the Ark of the Covenant of Yahuah, to stand before Yahuah to minister unto him, and to bless in his name, unto this day.

Devariym (Deuteronomy) 10:19-21
Love ye therefore את eth-the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Mitsrayim. 20 You shall fear את eth-Yahuah Elohayka; him shall you serve, and to him shall you cleave, and swear by his name. 21 He is your praise, and he is your Elohiym, that has done for you את eth-these great and את eth-terrible things, which your eyes have seen.

Devariym (Deuteronomy) 18:6-7
And if a Leviyiy come from any of your gates out of all Yashar’el, where he sojourned, and come with all the desire of his mind unto the place which Yahuah shall choose; 7 Then he shall minister in the name of Yahuah Elohayu, as all his brethren the Leviyiym do, which stand there before Yahuah.

Tehilliym (Psalms) 22:22-23
I will declare your name unto my brethren: in the midst of the assembly will I praise you. 23 Ye that fear Yahuah, praise him; all ye the seed of Ya`aqov, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Yashar’el.

Tehilliym (Psalms) 44:17-21
All this is come upon us; yet have we not forgotten you, neither have we dealt falsely in your covenant. 18 Our heart is not turned back, neither have our steps declined from your way; 19 Though you have sore broken us in the place of dragons and covered us with the shadow of death. 20 If we have forgotten the name of our Elohiym, or stretched out our hands to a strange el; 21 Shall not Elohiym search this out? for he knows the secrets of the heart.

Tehilliym (Psalms) 45:17
I will make your name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise you forever and ever.

Tehilliym (Psalms) 68:4
Sing unto Elohiym, sing praises to his name: extol him that rides upon the heavens by his name Yah, and rejoice before him.

Tehilliym (Psalm) 91:14-16
Because he has set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he has known my name. 15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. 16 With long life will I satisfy him and show him my yeshu`ah.

Yo’el (Joel) 2:32
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of Yahuah shall be delivered: for in Mount Tsiyon and in Yerushalayim shall be deliverance, as Yahuah has said, and in the remnant whom Yahuah shall call.

Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 10:25
Pour out your fury upon the heathen that know you not, and upon the families that call not on your name: for they have eaten up את eth-Ya`aqov, and devoured him, and consumed him, and have made את eth-his habitation desolate.

Zakaryahu (Zechariah) 13:7-9
Awake, O sword, against my Shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, says Yahuah Tseva’oth: smite את eth-the Shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn my hand upon the little ones. 8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, says Yahuah, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. 9 And I will bring את eth-the third part through the fire, and will refine them את eth-as silver is refined, and will try them את eth-as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, Yahuah Elohai.

Yochanon (John) 17:25-26
O Righteous Father, the world has not known you: but I have known you, and these have known that you have sent me. 26 And I have declared unto them your name and will declare it: that the love wherewith you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.
