24 Asar Ashtay (Shevat) - 30 Asar Ashtay (Shevat)

PARSHAT: Shemoth 1:1 - 6:1

NOW these are the names of the children of Yisra’el, which came into Mitsrayim; every man and his household came with את eth Ya`aqov. 2 Re’uven, Shim`on, Leviy, and Yahudah, 3 Yisshaqar, Zevulun, and Binyamiyn, 4 Dan, and Naphtaliy, Gad, and Asher. 5 And all the souls that came out of the loins of Ya`aqov were seventy souls: for Yoceph was in Mitsrayim already. 6 And Yoceph died, and all his brethren, and all that generation.

7 And the children of Yisra’el were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them. 8 Now there arose up a new king over Mitsrayim, which knew not את eth-Yoceph. 9 And he said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Yisra’el are more and mightier than we: 10 Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falls out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land. 11 Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Phar`oh treasure cities, את eth-Pithom and את eth-Ra`amcec.[i] 12 But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Yisra’el. 13 And the Mitsriym made את eth-the children of Yisra’el to serve with rigour: 14 And they made את eth-their lives bitter with hard bondage, in mortar, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: את eth all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour.

15 And the king of Mitsrayim spoke to the Ivriy midwives, of which the name of the one was Shiphrah, and the name of the other Pu’ah: 16 And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to את eth-the Ivriyth women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live. 17 But the midwives feared את eth-ELOHIYM, and did not as the king of Mitsrayim commanded them, but saved את eth-the men children alive. 18 And the king of Mitsrayim called for the midwives, and said unto them, Why have ye done this thing, and have saved את eth-the men children alive? 19 And the midwives said unto Phar`oh, Because the Ivriyth women are not as the Mitsriyth women; for they are lively, and are delivered ere the midwives come in unto them. 20 Therefore ELOHIYM dealt well with the midwives: and the people multiplied, and waxed very mighty. 21 And it came to pass, because the midwives feared את eth-ELOHIYM, that he made them houses. 22 And Phar`oh charged all his people, saying, Every son that is born ye shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save alive.

CHAPTER 2
AND there went a man of the house of Leviy, and took את eth-to be his woman a daughter of Leviy. 2 And the woman conceived, and bore a son: and when she saw him that he was a goodly child, she hid him three months. 3 And when she could not longer hide him, she took for him an ark of bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and with pitch, and put את eth-the child therein; and she laid it in the flags by the river's brink. 4 And his sister stood afar off, to wit what would be done to him.

5 And the daughter of Phar`oh came down to wash herself at the river; and her maidens walked along by the river's side; and when she saw את eth-the ark among the flags, she sent את eth-her maid to fetch it. 6 And when she had opened it, she saw את eth-the child: and, behold, the babe wept. And she had compassion on him, and said, This is one of the Ivriym children. 7 Then said his sister to Phar`oh’s daughter, Shall I go and call to you a nurse of the Ivriyth women, that she may nurse את eth-the child for you? 8 And Phar`oh’s daughter said to her, Go. And the maid went and called את eth-the child's mother. 9 And Phar`oh’s daughter said unto her, Take את eth-this child away, and nurse it for me, and I will give you את eth-your wages. And the woman took the child, and nursed it. 10 And the child grew, and she brought him unto Phar`oh’s daughter, and he became her son. And she called his name Mosheh:[ii] and she said, Because I drew him out of the water.

11 And it came to pass in those days, when Mosheh was grown, that he went out unto his brethren, and looked on their burdens: and he spied a Mitsriy smiting an Ivriy, one of his brethren. 12 And he looked this way and that way, and when he saw that there was no man, he slew את eth-the Mitsriy, and hid him in the sand. 13 And when he went out the second day, behold, two men of the Ivriym strove together: and he said to him that did the wrong, Wherefore smite you your fellow? 14 And he said, Who made you a prince and a judge over us? intend you to kill me, as you killed את eth-the Mitsriy? And Mosheh feared, and said, Surely this thing is known. 15 Now when Phar`oh heard את eth-this thing, he sought to slay את eth-Mosheh. But Mosheh fled from the face of Phar`oh, and dwelt in the land of Midyan: and he sat down by a well. 16 Now the priest of Midyan had seven daughters: and they came and drew water, and filled את eth-the troughs to water their father's flock. 17 And the shepherds came and drove them away: but Mosheh stood up and helped them, and watered את eth-their flock. 18 And when they came to Re’u’el their father, he said, How is it that ye are come so soon today? 19 And they said, A Mitsriy delivered us out of the hand of the shepherds, and also drew water enough for us, and watered את eth-the flock. 20 And he said unto his daughters, And where is he? why is it that ye have left את eth-the man? call him, that he may eat bread. 21 And Mosheh was content to dwell with את eth-the man: and he gave Mosheh את eth-Tsipporah[iii] his daughter. 22 And she bore him a son, and he called את eth-his name Gershom: for he said, I have been a stranger in a strange land.

23 And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Mitsrayim died: and the children of Yisra’el sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto ELOHIYM by reason of the bondage. 24 And ELOHIYM heard את eth-their groaning, and ELOHIYM remembered את eth-his covenant with את eth-Avraham, with את eth-Yitschaq, and with את eth-Ya`aqov. 25 And ELOHIYM looked upon את eth-the children of Yisra’el, and ELOHIYM had respect unto them.

CHAPTER 3
NOW Mosheh kept את eth-the flock of Yithro[iv] his father in law, the priest of Midyan: and he led את eth-the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of ELOHIYM, even to Chorev.[v] 2 And the angel of YAHUAH appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. 3 And Mosheh said, I will now turn aside, and see את eth-this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. 4 And when YAHUAH saw that he turned aside to see, ELOHIYM called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Mosheh, Mosheh. And he said, Here am I. 5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off your shoes from off your feet, for the place whereon you stand is holy ground. 6 Moreover he said, I am the ELOHIYM of your father, the ELOHIYM of Avraham, the ELOHIYM of Yitschaq, and the ELOHIYM of Ya`aqov. And Mosheh hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon ELOHIYM.

7 And YAHUAH said, I have surely seen את eth-the affliction of my people which are in Mitsrayim, and have heard את eth-their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know את eth-their sorrows; 8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Mitsriym, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Kena`aniym, and the Chittiym, and the Emoriym, and the Perizziym, and the Chivviym, and the Yevuciym. 9 Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Yisra’el is come unto me: and I have also seen את eth-the oppression wherewith the Mitsriym oppress them. 10 Come now therefore, and I will send you unto Phar`oh, that you may bring forth my people את eth-the children of Yisra’el out of Mitsrayim.

11 And Mosheh said unto ELOHIYM, Who am I, that I should go unto Phar`oh, and that I should bring forth את eth-the children of Yisra’el out of Mitsrayim? 12 And he said, Certainly I will be with you; and this shall be a sign unto you, that I have sent you: When you have brought forth את eth-the people out of Mitsrayim, ye shall serve את eth-ELOHIYM upon this mountain. 13 And Mosheh said unto ELOHIYM, Behold, when I come unto the children of Yisra’el, and shall say unto them, The ELOHIYM of your fathers has sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? 14 And ELOHIYM said unto El-Mosheh, EHAYAH ASHER EHAYAH:[vi] and he said, Thus shall you say unto the children of Yisra’el, EHAYAH[vii] has sent me unto you. 15 And ELOHIYM said moreover unto El-Mosheh, Thus shall you say unto the children of Yisra’el, YAHUAH ELOHIYM of your fathers, the ELOHIYM of Avraham, the ELOHIYM of Yitschaq, and the ELOHIYM of Ya`aqov, has sent me unto you: this is my name forever, and this is my mention unto all generations. 16 Go, and gather את eth-the elders of Yisra’el together, and say unto them, YAHUAH ELOHIYM of your fathers, the ELOHIYM of Avraham, of Yitschaq, and of Ya`aqov, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen את eth-that which is done to you in Mitsrayim: 17 And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Mitsrayim unto the land of the Kena`aniym, and the Chittiym, and the Emoriym, and the Perizziym, and the Chivviym, and the Yevuciym, unto a land flowing with milk and honey. 18 And they shall hearken to your voice: and you shall come, you and the elders of Yisra’el, unto the king of Mitsrayim, and ye shall say unto him, YAHUAH ELOHIYM of the Ivriym has met with us: and now let us go, we beseech you, three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to YAHUAH ELOHAYNU.

19 And I am sure that the king of Mitsrayim will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand. 20 And I will stretch out את eth-my hand, and smite את eth-Mitsrayim with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: and after that he will let you go. 21 And I will give את eth-this people favour in the sight of the Mitsriym: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty: 22 But every woman shall borrow of her neighbour, and of her that sojourns in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and ye shall put them upon your sons, and upon your daughters; and ye shall spoil את eth-the Mitsriym.

CHAPTER 4
AND Mosheh answered and said, But, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice: for they will say, YAHUAH has not appeared unto you. 2 And YAHUAH said unto him, What is that in your hand? And he said, A rod. 3 And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Mosheh fled from before it. 4 And YAHUAH said unto Mosheh, Put forth your hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand: 5 That they may believe that YAHUAH ELOHIYM of their fathers, the ELOHIYM of Avraham, the ELOHIYM of Yitschaq, and the ELOHIYM of Ya`aqov, has appeared unto you.

6 And YAHUAH said furthermore unto him, Put now your hand into your bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom: and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous as snow. 7 And he said, Put your hand into your bosom again. And he put his hand into his bosom again; and plucked it out of his bosom, and, behold, it was turned again as his other flesh. 8 And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe you, neither hearken to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign. 9 And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe also these two signs, neither hearken unto your voice, that you shall take of the water of the river, and pour it upon the dry land: and the water which you take out of the river shall become blood upon the dry land.

10 And Mosheh said unto EL-YAHUAH, O my ADONAI, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since you have spoken unto your servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue. 11 And YAHUAH said unto him, Who has made man's mouth? or who makes the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I YAHUAH? 12 Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth, and teach you what you shall say. 13 And he said, O my ADONAI, send, I pray you, by the hand of him whom you will send. 14 And the anger of YAHUAH was kindled against Mosheh, and he said, Is not Aharon[viii] the Leviyiy[ix] your brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, behold, he comes forth to meet you: and when he sees you, he will be glad in his heart. 15 And you shall speak unto him, and put את eth-the words in his mouth: and I will be with your mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you את eth what ye shall do. 16 And he shall be your spokesman unto the people: and he shall be, even he shall be to you instead of a mouth, and you shall be to him instead of ELOHIYM. 17 And you shall take את eth-this rod in your hand, wherewith you shall do את eth-signs.

18 And Mosheh went and returned to Yithro his father in law, and said unto him, Let me go, I pray you, and return unto my brethren which are in Mitsrayim, and see whether they be yet alive. And Yithro said to Mosheh, Go in peace. 19 And YAHUAH said unto Mosheh in Midyan, Go, return into Mitsrayim: for all the men are dead which sought את eth-your life. 20 And Mosheh took את eth-his woman and את eth-his sons, and set them upon an ass, and he returned to the land of Mitsrayim: and Mosheh took את eth-the rod of ELOHIYM in his hand. 21 And YAHUAH said unto Mosheh, When you go to return into Mitsrayim, see that you do all those wonders before Phar`oh, which I have put in your hand: but I will harden את eth-his heart, that he shall not let את eth-the people go. 22 And you shall say unto Phar`oh, Thus says YAHUAH, Yisra’el is my son, even my firstborn: 23 And I say unto you, Let את eth-my son go, that he may serve me: and if you refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay את eth-your son, even your firstborn.

24 And it came to pass by the way in the inn, that YAHUAH met him, and sought to kill him. 25 Then Tsipporah took a sharp stone, and cut off את eth-the foreskin of her son, and cast it at his feet, and said, Surely a bloody man are you to me. 26 So he let him go: then she said, A bloody man you are, because of the circumcision.

27 And YAHUAH said to El-Aharon, Go into the wilderness to meet Mosheh. And he went, and met him in the Mount of ELOHIYM, and kissed him. 28 And Mosheh told Aharon את eth all the words of YAHUAH who had sent him, and all the signs which he had commanded him.

29 And Mosheh and Aharon went and gathered together את eth-all the elders of the children of Yisra’el: 30 And Aharon spoke את eth all the words which YAHUAH had spoken unto Mosheh, and did the signs in the sight of the people. 31 And the people believed: and when they heard that YAHUAH had visited את eth-the children of Yisra’el, and that he had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped.

CHAPTER 5
AND afterward Mosheh and Aharon went in, and told Phar`oh, Thus says YAHUAH ELOHIYM of Yisra’el, Let my people go, that they may hold את eth-a feast unto me in the wilderness. 2 And Phar`oh said, Who is YAHUAH, that I should obey his voice to let את eth-Yisra’el go? I know not את eth-YAHUAH, neither will I let את eth-Yisra’el go. 3 And they said, The ELOHIYM of the Ivriym has met with us: let us go, we pray you, three days' journey into the desert, and sacrifice unto YAHUAH ELOHAYNU; lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword. 4 And the king of Mitsrayim said unto them, Wherefore do ye, Mosheh and Aharon, let את eth-the people from their works? get you unto your burdens. 5 And Phar`oh said, Behold, the people of the land now are many, and ye make them rest from their burdens. 6 And Phar`oh commanded the same day את eth-the taskmasters of the people, and את eth-their officers, saying, 7 Ye shall no more give the people straw to make brick, as heretofore: let them go and gather straw for themselves. 8 And את eth-the tale of the bricks, which they did make heretofore, ye shall lay upon them; ye shall not diminish ought thereof: for they be idle; therefore they cry, saying, Let us go and sacrifice to our ELOHIYM. 9 Let there more work be laid upon the men, that they may labour therein; and let them not regard vain words.

10 And the taskmasters of the people went out, and their officers, and they spoke to the people, saying, Thus says Phar`oh, I will not give you straw. 11 Go ye, get you straw where ye can find it: yet not ought of your work shall be diminished. 12 So the people were scattered abroad throughout all the land of Mitsrayim to gather stubble instead of straw. 13 And the taskmasters hasted them, saying, Fulfil your works, your daily tasks, as when there was straw. 14 And the officers of the children of Yisra’el, which Phar`oh’s taskmasters had set over them, were beaten, and demanded, Wherefore have ye not fulfilled your task in making brick both yesterday and today, as heretofore?

15 Then the officers of the children of Yisra’el came and cried unto Phar`oh, saying, Wherefore deal you thus with your servants? 16 There is no straw given unto your servants, and they say to us, Make brick: and, behold, your servants are beaten; but the fault is in your own people. 17 But he said, Ye are idle, ye are idle: therefore ye say, Let us go and do sacrifice to YAHUAH. 18 Go therefore now, and work; for there shall no straw be given you, yet shall ye deliver the tale of bricks. 19 And the officers of the children of Yisra’el did see that they were in evil case, after it was said, Ye shall not minish ought from your bricks of your daily task.

20 And they met את eth-Mosheh and את eth-Aharon, who stood in the way, as they came forth from Phar`oh: 21 And they said unto them, YAHUAH look upon you, and judge; because ye have made את eth-our savour to be abhorred in the eyes of Phar`oh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay us. 22 And Mosheh returned unto EL-YAHUAH, and said, ADONAI, wherefore have you so evil entreated this people? why is it that you have sent me? 23 For since I came to Phar`oh to speak את eth-in your name, he has done evil to this people; neither have you delivered your people at all.

CHAPTER 6
THEN YAHUAH said unto Mosheh, Now shall you see what I will do to Phar`oh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.

HAFTORAH: Yesha`yahu 27:6 - 28:13; Yesha`yahu 29:22-23

He shall cause them that come of Ya`aqov to take root: Yisra’el shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.

7 Has he smitten him, as he smote those that smote him? or is he slain according to the slaughter of them that are slain by him? 8 In measure, when it shoots forth, you will debate with it: he stays his rough wind in the day of the east wind. 9 By this therefore shall the iniquity of Ya`aqov be purged; and this is all the fruit to take away his sin; when he makes all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the Asherah poles and images shall not stand up. 10 Yet the defenced city shall be desolate, and the habitation forsaken, and left like a wilderness: there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down, and consume the branches thereof. 11 When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off: the women come, and set them on fire: for it is a people of no understanding: therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he that formed them will show them no favour.

12 And it shall come to pass in that day, that YAHUAH shall beat off from the channel of the river unto the stream of Mitsrayim, and ye shall be gathered one by one, O ye children of Yisra’el. 13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great shofar shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Ashshur, and the outcasts in the land of Mitsrayim, and shall worship YAHUAH in the holy mount at Yerushalayim.

CHAPTER 28
WOE to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephrayim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine! 2 Behold, ADONAI has a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand. 3 The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephrayim, shall be trodden under feet: 4 And the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a fading flower, and as the hasty fruit before the summer; which when he that looks upon it sees, while it is yet in his hand he eats it up.

5 In that day shall YAHUAH TSEVA’OTH be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the remnant of his people, 6 And for a ruach of judgment to him that sits in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.

7 But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment. 8 For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.

9 את eth-Whom shall he teach knowledge? and את eth-whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: 11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. 12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. 13 But the Word of YAHUAH was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

CHAPTER 29
Therefore thus says YAHUAH, who redeemed את eth-Avraham, concerning the house of Ya`aqov, Ya`aqov shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale. 23 But when he sees his children, the work of my hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify את eth-the Holy One of Ya`aqov, and shall fear את eth-the ELOHIYM of Yisra’el.

BESORAH: Yahuchanon 6:1-71

AFTER these things YAHUSHA went over the Sea of Galiyl, which is the Sea of Tiveriyah.[x] 2 And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased. 3 And YAHUSHA went up into a mountain, and there he sat with his Talmidiym. 4 And the Pecach, a Feast of YAHUAH which the Yahudiym observed, was nigh.

5 When YAHUSHA then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he said unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat? 6 And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do. 7 Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that everyone of them may take a little. 8 One of his Talmidiym, Andrai, Shim`on Kepha's brother, said unto him, 9 There is a lad here, which has five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many? 10 And YAHUSHA said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. 11 And YAHUSHA took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the Talmidiym, and the Talmidiym to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would. 12 When they were filled, he said unto his Talmidiym, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost. 13 Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten. 14 Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that YAHUSHA did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.

15 When YAHUSHA therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone. 16 And when even was now come, his Talmidiym went down unto the sea, 17 And entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward Kapharnachum. And it was now dark, and YAHUSHA was not come to them. 18 And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew. 19 So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty stadion, they see YAHUSHA walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid. 20 But he said unto them, It is I; be not afraid. 21 Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went.

22 The day following, when the people which stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other boat there, save that one whereinto his Talmidiym were entered, and that YAHUSHA went not with his Talmidiym into the boat, but that his Talmidiym were gone away alone; 23 (Howbeit there came other boats from Tiveriyah nigh unto the place where they did eat bread, after that ADONAI had given thanks:) 24 When the people therefore saw that YAHUSHA was not there, neither his Talmidiym, they also took shipping, and came to Kapharnachum, seeking for YAHUSHA. 25 And when they had found him on the other side of the sea, they said unto him, Rabbi, when came you hither? 26 YAHUSHA answered them and said, Amein, Amein, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled. 27 Labour not for the food which perishes, but for that food which endures unto everlasting life, which the Son of Adam shall give unto you: for him has YAHUAH the Father sealed. 28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of YAHUAH? 29 YAHUSHA answered and said unto them, This is the work of YAHUAH, that ye believe on him whom he has sent. 30 They said therefore unto him, What sign show you then, that we may see, and believe you? what do you work? 31 Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat. 32 Then YAHUSHA said unto them, Amein, Amein, I say unto you, Mosheh gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of YAH is he which comes down from heaven, and gives life unto the world. 34 Then said they unto him, ADONAI, evermore give us this bread. 35 And YAHUSHA said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that comes to me shall never hunger; and he that believes on me shall never thirst. 36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not. 37 All that the Father gives me shall come to me; and him that comes to me I will in no wise cast out. 38 For I came down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him that sent me. 39 And this is the Father's will which has sent me, that of all which he has given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that everyone which sees the Son, and believes on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. 41 The Yahudiym then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven. 42 And they said, Is not this YAHUSHA, the son of Yoceph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he says, I came down from heaven? 43 YAHUSHA therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves. 44 No man can come to me, except the Father which has sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. 45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of YAHUAH. Every man therefore that has heard, and has learned of the Father, comes unto me. 46  Not that any man has seen the Father, save he which is of YAHUAH, he has seen the Father. 47 Amein, Amein, I say unto you, He that believes on me has everlasting life. 48 I am that bread of life. 49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. 51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. 52 The Yahudiym therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? 53 Then YAHUSHA said unto them, Amein, Amein, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of Adam, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. 54 Whoso eats my flesh, and drinks my blood, has eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. 56 He that eats my flesh, and drinks my blood, dwells in me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father has sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eats me, even he shall live by me. 58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eats of this bread shall live forever. 59 These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Kapharnachum. 60 Many therefore of his Talmidiym, when they had heard this, said, This is a hard saying; who can hear it? 61 When YAHUSHA knew in himself that his Talmidiym murmured at it, he said unto them, Does this offend you? 62 What and if ye shall see the Son of Adam ascend up where he was before? 63 It is the ruach that quickens; the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are ruach, and they are life. 64 But there are some of you that believe not. For YAHUSHA knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. 65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

66 From that time many of his Talmidiym went back, and walked no more with him. 67 Then said YAHUSHA unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? 68 Then Shim`on Kepha answered him, ADONAI, to whom shall we go? you have the words of eternal life. 69 And we believe and are sure that you are that MASHIACH, the Son of the living YAH. 70 YAHUSHA answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? 71 He spoke of Yahudah Iyshqiryot the son of Shim`on: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.
